Overall Grade Point Average definition
Overall Grade Point Average. (OGPA) means the quotient of cumulative credit points obtained by a student in all the courses taken from the beginning of the first semester of the year divided by the total credit hours of all the courses which he/she had completed up to the end of a specified semester and determines the overall performance of a student in all courses during the period covering more than one semester. The OGPA has to be arrived at the second decimal place.
Overall Grade Point Average. (OGPA) means the total credit points of the courses completed by the student divided by total credit hours of the course and rounded to two decimals. The OGPA shall be the basis to determine the student’s merit and to decide whether or not a student meets the academic requirements for getting the degree.
