OVERHAUL LIFE definition

OVERHAUL LIFE means the amount of use, or operational and/or calendar time which, according to the Airworthiness Authority, determines when overhaul or replacement of a Unit is required.
OVERHAUL LIFE means the amount of use, or operational and/or calendar time which, according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, determines when overhaul or replacement of a Unit is due.

"MOORED" means, in the case of aircraft designed to land on water, whilst the Aircraft is afloat and is not in Flight or Taxiing as defined above, and includes the risks of launching and hauling up.

  • Overhaul means the restoration of an aircraft or aircraft component using methods, techniques, and practices acceptable to the Authority, including disassembly, cleaning, and inspection as permitted, repair as necessary, and reassembly; and testing in accordance with approved standards and technical data, or in accordance with current standards and technical data acceptable to the Authority, which have been developed and documented by the State of Design, holder of the type certificate, supplemental type certificate, or a material, part, process, or appliance approval under Parts Manufacturing Authorisation (PMA) or Technical Standard Order (TSO);

Preventive maintenance is conducted to keep equipment working and/or extend the life of the equipment.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities means System Upgrade Facilities that a Developer may construct without affecting day-to-day operations of the New York State Transmission System during their construction. NYISO, the Connecting Transmission Owner and the Developer must agree as to what constitutes Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities and identify them in Appendix A to this Agreement.

  • Support Service means an activity, such as information technology, accounting, human resources, legal, and other support functions that are required to support the ongoing delivery of core services.

  • Spares means a part or a sub-assembly or assembly for substitution which is ready to replace an identical or similar part or sub-assembly or assembly including a component or an accessory;

  • Upgrade means a major version upgrade of any Platform software.

  • Planned Maintenance means any Maintenance BT has planned to do in advance.
