PACE participant definition

PACE participant means any individual who is a current
PACE participant means any individual who is a current or prospective or former patient or client of PARTICIPANT IN any PACE program in the state.

Examples of PACE participant in a sentence

  • A PACE participant may voluntarily disenroll from the program without cause at any time.

  • If the State administering agency determines that a PACE participant no longer meets the State Medicaid nursing facil- ity level of care requirements, the par- ticipant may be deemed to continue to be eligible for the PACE program until the next annual reevaluation, if, in the absence of continued coverage under this program, the participant reason- ably would be expected to meet the nursing facility level of care require- ment within the next 6 months.

  • Further time is needed for the receipt of information requested from or submitted by the PACE participant and the new time frame is communicated to the participant in writing; or (B) The PACE participant fails to provide the requested information within 30 calendar days of the request by the PACE program (or another mutually agreed upon time frame) the grievance may be resolved against the PACE participant.

  • Written material describing the grievance process; (B) Assurance in all written, oral, and posted material of PACE participant confidentiality in the grievance process; and (C) Information on alternatives to the PACE programs grievance and appeals process, including but not limited to, the Medicare appeals process, and the state's administrative hearing process.

  • The PCP will arrange, coordinate, and monitor all medical, mental health, and dental care for that PACE participant on an ongoing basis.

  • Make a decision on the grievance and proceed according to subsection (2)(i) of this rule; or (B) Notify the PACE participant or the PACE participant's representative in writing that a delay indecision of up to 30 calendar days is necessary to resolve the grievance.

  • Electing enrollment in any other Medicare or Medicaid prepayment plan or optional benefit, including the hospice benefit, after enrolling as a PACE participant is considered a voluntary disenrollment from PACE.

  • PACE programs must ensure a newly enrolled PACE participant receives timely, adequate and appropriate health care services necessary to establish and maintain the health of the PACE participant.

  • When the state determines a PACE participant no longer meets the State Medicaid nursing facility level of care requirements, the State agrees to establish a process that may deem participants to continue to be eligible for PACE until the next annual reevaluation if, in the absence of continued coverage under the program, the participant reasonably would be expected to meet the nursing facility level of care requirement within the next 6 months.

  • No AllCare PACE participant will be involuntarily disenrolled without prior review and approval of the State of Oregon Department of Human Services.

Related to PACE participant

  • FTR Participant means any Market Participant that provides or is required to provide Collateral in order to participate in PJM’s FTR auctions.

  • L/C Participant shall have the meaning provided in Section 3.3(a).

  • Other Participant means a cooperative project participant other than the United States.

  • Active Participant means, with respect to any day or date, a Participant who is in Service on such day or date; provided, that a Participant shall cease to be an Active Participant (i) immediately upon a determination by the Committee that the Participant has ceased to be an Employee or Independent Contractor, or (ii) at the end of the Plan Year that the Committee determines the Participant no longer meets the eligibility requirements of the Plan.

  • Participant has the meaning specified in Section 10.06(d).

  • Study Participant means a person recruited to participate in the Study.

  • CDS Participant means a participant in CDS that holds security entitlements in Units on behalf of beneficial owners of those Units;

  • Major Participant means each Equity Member and each member of the Proposer’s organization: (a) with primary responsibility for design; (b) with primary responsibility for construction; or (c) with a proposed subcontract with a value greater than or equal to 5% of the contract price or $20 million, whichever is greater.

  • Covered Participant means a Participant who is a “covered employee” as defined in Section 162(m)(3) of the Code, and the regulations promulgated thereunder, and any individual the Committee determines should be treated as such a covered employee.

  • Loan Participant means each Purchaser and its respective successors and registered assigns, including any Certificate Holder.

  • Inactive Participant means each Participant (other than a Retired Participant, Deceased Participant or Disabled Participant) who is not in active service as an Outside Director and is not actively employed by a Participating Company.

  • Key participant means a sole proprietor, a partner in partnership, or a person with executive managerial control in a corporation. A person with executive managerial control includes persons such as a chief executive officer, chief operating officer and chief financial officer. This definition does not include non-executive managers such as farm, field, or shift managers.

  • U.S. Participant means a Participant who is a citizen of the United States or a resident of the United States, as defined in section 7701(a)(30)(A) and section 7701(b)(1) of the Code and any other Participant who is subject to tax under the Code with respect to compensatory awards granted pursuant to the Plan;

  • Disabled Participant with respect to a loan if it has no right to exercise any voting or other control rights with respect to such loan (other than the right to approve amendments to the material economic terms of such loan).

  • Plan Participant means a person who is eligible to receive, and is receiving, a pension benefit from the Plan.

  • Designated Participant means such employees or officers of the Company or a related entity of the Company as the Board may designate from time to time as eligible to participate in the Plan;

  • A Participant or beneficiary ("claimant") who has not received benefits under the Plan that he or she believes should be paid shall make a claim for such benefits as follows:

  • Former Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but who has ceased to be a Participant for any reason.

  • Requesting Participant means a Participant initiating an RFQ.

  • Retired Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but who has become entitled to retirement benefits under the Plan.

  • Program participant means an individual certified by the secretary as a program participant under Iowa Code section 9E.3.

  • Terminated Participant means a person who has been a Participant, but whose employment has been terminated other than by death, Total and Permanent Disability or retirement.

  • Auction Participant or “Bidder” means a Person or Persons who submitted a bid as per the E- Auction Process Memorandum; and shall include a Qualified Bidder or the Successful Bidder and as the context requires;

  • Authorised Participant means the Initial Authorised Participant, the Second Authorised Participant and any Additional Authorised Participant.

  • Non-U.S. Participant means any Participant that if it were a Lender would qualify as a Non-U.S. Lender.

  • Current Participant means a person who participated in the Plan during the Class Period and had an Active Account on May 11, 2018.
