Parent Privacy Policy definition

Parent Privacy Policy means each external or internal, past or present privacy policy of any Parent Company, including any policy relating to: (A) the privacy of users of any Parent Software; (B) the collection, storage, disclosure or transfer of any Parent User Data or Personal Data; and (C) any employee information;
Parent Privacy Policy means each external, past or present privacy policy of Parent or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • None of (1) the execution, delivery, or performance of this Agreement or (2) the consummation of any of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, including the Merger, will violate any Parent Privacy Policy or any law pertaining to privacy, data protection user data or Parent Personal Information, except in each case as would not, individually or in the aggregate, reasonably be likely to result in a Parent Material Adverse Effect.

  • No privacy statement on any Parent Product or any Parent Site, or in any Parent Privacy Policy, has been misleading, deceptive or in material violation of any Privacy Law.

  • The School has a Parent Privacy Policy and a Pupil Privacy Policy which explain how the School will use the Parent's and the Pupil's personal data.

  • Neither the execution, delivery or performance of this Agreement nor the consummation of any of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, nor Parent’s possession or use of the User Data or any data or information in the Parent Databases in compliance with the Parent Privacy Policies, will, to the Knowledge of the Parent, result in any violation of any Parent Privacy Policy or any Legal Requirement pertaining to privacy, User Data or Personal Data.

  • Company Privacy Policy means each external or internal, past or present privacy policy of the Company, including any policy relating to (i) the privacy of users of the Company Products or of any Company Website, (ii) the collection, storage, disclosure, and transfer of any User Data or Personal Data, and (iii) any employee information.

  • Privacy Policy means the terms which set out how we will deal with confidential and personal information received from you via the Website;

  • Information Privacy and Security Laws means all applicable laws concerning the privacy, data protection, transfer, or security of Personal Confidential Information, including, to the extent applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU), other state, and federal, data security laws, data breach notification laws, and consumer protection laws.

  • Mass Privacy Act is defined in Section 9.2 hereof.

  • The HIPAA Privacy Rule means the Standards for Privacy of Individually 10 Identifiable Health Information at 45 CFR Part 160 and Part 164, Subparts A and E.

  • HIPAA Privacy Rule means the regulations promulgated under HIPAA by the United States Department of Health and Human Services to protect the privacy of Protected Health Information, including, but not limited to, 45 CFR Part 160 and 45 CFR Part 164, Subpart A and Subpart E.

  • Privacy/Data Security Laws means all laws governing the receipt, collection, use, storage, processing, sharing, security, disclosure, or transfer of Personal Information or the security of Company’s Business Systems or Business Data.

  • Applicable Privacy Laws means all applicable international, national, federal, and state data protection and privacy laws, (including re EU Privacy Law as applicable to the processing of Personal Data in the European Union);

  • Safeguard Policy Statement or “SPS” means ADB's Safeguard Policy Statement (2009);

  • Privacy Statements means, collectively, any and all of the Company’s privacy statements and policies published on Company websites or products or otherwise made available by the Company regarding the collection, retention, use and distribution of the personal information of individuals, including, without limitation, from visitors or users of any Company websites or products (“Individuals”);

  • Group Policy /”policy” means the breakdown policy as set out in this document;

  • Personal Information Breach means an instance where an unauthorized person or entity accesses Personal Information in any manner, including but not limited to the following occurrences: (1) any Personal Information that is not encrypted or protected is misplaced, lost, stolen or in any way compromised; (2) one or more third parties have had access to or taken control or possession of any Personal Information that is not encrypted or protected without prior written authorization from the State; (3) the unauthorized acquisition of encrypted or protected Personal Information together with the confidential process or key that is capable of compromising the integrity of the Personal Information; or (4) if there is a substantial risk of identity theft or fraud to the client, the Contractor, the Department or State.

  • Privacy Standards means the standards of the privacy of individually identifiable health information, as pursuant to HIPAA.

  • HIPAA means the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended.

  • SAP Policies means the operational guidelines and policies applied by SAP to provide and support the Cloud Service as incorporated in an Order Form.

  • Customer information systems means any methods used to access, collect, store, use, transmit, protect, or dispose of customer in- formation.

  • Privacy Notice means Sage’s privacy notice posted on xxx.xxxx.xxx (or such other URL as Sage may notify to you) and which may be amended by Sage from time to time.

  • Privacy Laws means the Act; and the Information Privacy Principles set out in the Act or any "code of practice" approved under the Act that applies to any of the parties to this Contract.

  • Applicable Data Protection Laws means all national, international and local laws, regulations and rules by any government, agency or authority relating to data protection and privacy which are applicable to CPA Global or the Customer, including but not limited to The General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), (GDPR);

  • Privacy Breach means a common law breach of confidence, infringement, or violation of any rights to privacy, including but not limited to breach of “Your” privacy statement, breach of a person’s right of publicity, wrongful collection, false light, intrusion upon a person’s seclusion, public disclosure of “Private Information”, or misappropriation of a person’s picture or name for commercial gain.
