Participant User Type definition

Participant User Type means the classification selected by a Participant and approved or otherwise assigned by HGN-ACO in accordance with an HIE Agreement. The current Participant User Types include: Data Supplier, Data Receiver and Data Sharer. The Participant User Types and their respective definitions may be amended, added to, deleted or otherwise modified by the HGN-ACO Governing Body from time to time.

Participant User Type means the type of user of NJSHINE that a Participant is registered as in accordance with these policies. By way of example, a Participant may register as one of the following Participant User Types: Data Supplier, Data Receiver, or a Data Exchanger.

Participant User Type means the category of Participants to which a particular applicant is assigned based upon that its relationship to the JHC Network and other Participants, and includes classification of such Participant as either a Data Supplier, Data Receiver, or Data Exchanger.

Examples of Participant User Type in a sentence

• Participants may modify their registration as a particular Participant User Type by contacting NJSHINE’s member IS Department and submitting a written request for modifying (expanding or curtailing) their registration.

• Participant shall register with the Virtua HIE as a selected Participant User Type prior to being permitted to access the Virtua HIE.

• Participant shall access and use (and ensure that its Authorized Users access and use) Data obtained through the Virtua HIE only for Permitted Uses and within the scope of access applicable to the Participant User Type (e.g., Data Sharer, Data Receiver, Data Supplier) that the Participant registered as with the Virtua HIE.

• Such HIO may modify its Participant User Type or terminate its participation with the GNHCC-HIE upon notifying the GNHCC Governing Body in writing accordingly, subject to such other requirements as may be set forth in such HIO’s participation agreement with GNHCC.

• If an HIO is approved to register and connect with the GNHCC-HIE by GNHCC, such HIO shall be required to execute a DURSA-type participation agreement with GNHCC, and to elect a Participant User Type.

• If Participant is approved as a Participant of the Virtua HIE, the effect of such approval shall include, among other things, that Participant must comply with and ensure that its Authorized Users comply with all Virtua HIE Policies applicable to the Participant User Type it has registered as.

• Such HIO may modify its Participant User Type or terminate its participation with the HGN-HIE upon notifying the HGN-ACO Governing Body in writing accordingly, subject to such other requirements as may be set forth in such HIO’s participation agreement with HGN-ACO.

• If an HIO is approved to register and connect with the HGN-HIE by HGN- ACO, such HIO shall be required to execute a DURSA-type participation agreement with HGN- ACO, and to elect a Participant User Type.
