Participating Teacher definition

Participating Teacher. A unit member who is a classroom teacher who either volunteers or is required by this Agreement to participate in the Program.
Participating Teacher is a teacher who is provided assistance under the PAR program.
Participating Teacher means a permanent classroom teacher member of the unit who either volunteers or is required by this article to participate in the program.

Examples of Participating Teacher in a sentence

  • Teacher and the evaluating Principal are expected to establish a cooperative relationship and shall coordinate and align the assistance provided to the Participating Teacher.

  • A different Consulting Teacher may be selected by the Participating Teacher to work with him/her at any time during the first six (6) weeks of the process when requested by the Participating Teacher or the Consulting Teacher.

  • The Participating Teacher shall be allowed only one (1) change per year.

  • The Participating Teacher is a unit member who receives assistance and coaching to improve instructional skills, classroom management, knowledge of subject, and related aspects of their evaluative performance (see appendix 1) and in the Association collective bargaining agreement.

  • If the Instructional Coach were to become an administrator, he/she may not become the administrative evaluator of the Participating Teacher with whom he/she worked.


More Definitions of Participating Teacher

Participating Teacher is any of the teachers receiving support or assistance from any of the programs described in this article.
Participating Teacher. A permanent teacher who receives an “unsatisfactory” evaluation or a voluntary participant who wishes to work with a Consulting Teacher for coaching purposes.
Participating Teacher. Any unit member who is a “teacher” and who either volunteers for, or is required by this Article to participate in, the Program.
Participating Teacher. A unit member with permanent status who has received an unsatisfactory because his/her evaluator has determined that s/he does not meet one or more of the Mountain View Xxxxxxx School District teaching standards in the areas of subject matter, knowledge, teaching strategies, or teaching methods, or instruction.
Participating Teacher. A unit member with permanent status, who either volunteers or is, required to participate in the program by a recent unsatisfactory annual evaluation and assistance plan.
Participating Teacher. A classroom teacher who either volunteers for, or is required by this Article to participate in, the Program. Such teacher shall be an individual who meets one (1) of the following qualifications:
