Member of the Unit definition

Member of the Unit refers to all classified employees who are part of a single unit which represents Office, Technical and Paraprofessional classified employees. All management, confidential, and supervisory employees and all other classified employees are excluded from the above unit. Specific descriptions of this single unit of classified employees are attached hereto marked as Appendix "A".
Member of the Unit refers to all regular classified employees of the District included in the proper unit of classified employees described in the Board's Employer Decision granting voluntary recognition, dated March 30, 1977 for Unit-I and June 22, 1983, for unit 2. (Reference 1.1.5 through 1.1.7)
Member of the Unit refers to all classified workers serving in the classifications listed in Appendix A hereto.

All management, confidential, and supervisory employees and all other classified employees are excluded from the Unit. Member of the Unit refers to any regular full-time and part-time, permanent, probationary and temporary certificated employee of the District serving in the following positions: classroom teachers, psychologists, nurses, special education special day class teachers, speech therapists, GATE teachers, music teachers, reading specialist/professional development, resource teachers, resource specialist program teachers, program specialists, certificated personnel assigned to county office, camp teachers, extended year teachers (extended year teacher defined as a regular full or part-time, probationary, temporary, or permanent certificated employee of the District, employed in the Exceptional Needs Intersession Program), bilingual classroom teachers, APE teachers, educational technology resource teachers, bilingual resource teachers, integrated special day teachers, educational social workers, visually handicapped itinerant resource specialist, VPA classroom teachers and certificated personnel on leave from positions described in this section. Superintendent, associate superintendents, assistant superintendents, directors, coordinators, principals, assistant principals, substitutes and all management, confidential, and supervisory personnel as defined by the Act are not considered members of the unit.
Member of the Unit or “Employee” as used in this document shall refer to employees of Mercer County Community College whose job title is indicated under Article 1: Recognition of this document.

In the event a probationary Unit member is absent on paid leave, pursuant to Article 9, for more than five (5) days during the probationary period, the probationary period shall be extended by one (1) day for each day of paid leave in excess of five (5) days. 1.1.11 "Regular, Full-Time Employee" is defined as a member of the Unit who is assigned to work eight (8) hours a day for the annual number of work days specified in Article 5. 1.1.12 “Regular, Part-Time Employee" is defined as a member of the Unit who is assigned to work less hours per day than the regular full-time employee as defined in this Agreement. 1.1.15 "Workdays” are days on which the District administrative offices are open for public business. 1.1.16 “Days” as used in this Agreement refer to calendar days.

Related to Member of the Unit

  • Member of the Board means an individual who is a member of the Board or of the board of directors of a Subsidiary or an Affiliate.

  • Member of the family shall have the meaning prescribed by Code Section 529(e)(2), and shall mean any individual who bears one of the following relationships to the beneficiary:

  • Member of the Group means any one of them.

  • Member of the public means any individual except when that individual is receiving an occupational dose.

  • Member of the household means any person who resides with the public official.

  • Member of the clergy means a clergyman or practitioner of any religious denomination accredited by the religious body to which he or she belongs.

  • Member of the Immediate Family means, with respect to any Person who is an individual, (a) each parent, spouse (but not including a former spouse or a spouse from whom such Person is legally separated) or child (including those adopted) of such individual and (b) each trustee, solely in his or her capacity as trustee, for a trust naming only one or more of the Persons listed in sub-clause (a) as beneficiaries.

  • Member of the immediate family of the producer means a person who is related to a producer described in Subsection 59-12-104(20)(a) as a:

  • Member of the Service means a person appointed in a substantive capacity under the provisions of these rules and orders/rules in force previous to the commencement of these rules, to a post in the cadre of the service.

  • ordinary member of the committee means a member of the committee who is not an officer of the Association under Rule 21;

  • Traditional member of the National Guard or federal reserves means an active member of the Selected Reserve subject to mobilization and deployment for which he or she attends monthly and annual training periods.

  • Lead Member of the Bidding Consortium or “Lead Member” shall mean a company who commits at least twenty six percent (26%) equity stake in the Project, meets the technical requirement as per Clause 2.1.2 and so designated by other Member(s) in Bidding Consortium;

  • Partnership Unit means a fractional, undivided share of the Partnership Interests of all Partners issued hereunder. The allocation of Partnership Units among the Partners shall be as set forth on Exhibit A, as may be amended from time to time.

  • Approved Transaction means any transaction in which the Board (or, if approval of the Board is not required as a matter of law, the stockholders of the Company) shall approve (i) any consolidation or merger of the Company, or binding share exchange, pursuant to which shares of Common Stock of the Company would be changed or converted into or exchanged for cash, securities, or other property, other than any such transaction in which the common stockholders of the Company immediately prior to such transaction have the same proportionate ownership of the Common Stock of, and voting power with respect to, the surviving corporation immediately after such transaction, (ii) any merger, consolidation or binding share exchange to which the Company is a party as a result of which the Persons who are common stockholders of the Company immediately prior thereto have less than a majority of the combined voting power of the outstanding capital stock of the Company ordinarily (and apart from the rights accruing under special circumstances) having the right to vote in the election of directors immediately following such merger, consolidation or binding share exchange, (iii) the adoption of any plan or proposal for the liquidation or dissolution of the Company, or (iv) any sale, lease, exchange or other transfer (in one transaction or a series of related transactions) of all, or substantially all, of the assets of the Company.

  • member of a couple means a member of a married or unmarried couple;

  • Partnership Unit Economic Balance means (i) the Capital Account balance of the General Partner plus the amount of the General Partner’s share of any Partner Minimum Gain or Partnership Minimum Gain, in each case to the extent attributable to the General Partner’s Partnership Units divided by (ii) the number of the General Partner’s Partnership Units.

  • Management Unit means an area established by the Commission for management purposes.

  • FTPS Unit means Units which are purchased through the Fund/SERV(R) trading system or on a manual basis through FTP Services LLC or for which FTP Services LLC is acting as FTPS Unit Servicing Agent.

  • member of Her Majesty s forces posted overseas” means a person who is a member of the regular forces or the reserve forces (within the meaning of section 374 of the Armed Forces Act 2006), who is absent from the dwelling that the person normally occupies as his home because the person has been posted outside of Great Britain to perform the duties of a member of Her Majesty’s regular forces or reserve forces; and

  • Member Club means any past or present member club of the NFL or any past member club of the American Football League.
