Pension Plan Benefits definition

Pension Plan Benefits means the monthly benefits payable under the terms of the Pension Plan and/or under the Group Annuity Contract.
Pension Plan Benefits means the aggregate monthly benefits payable under the Pension Plan.
Pension Plan Benefits generally means the benefits actually payable to a Participant, spouse, beneficiary or contingent annuitant under a Pension Plan. However, this Program is only intended to remedy pension reductions caused by the operation of section 401(a)

  • In lieu of Annual Vacation, Reduced Work Week Leave (RWWL), Paid Holidays, Sick Leave and Health and Welfare, (excluding Pension Plan Benefits), Casual Employees shall be paid 17.58% of gross earnings on a bi-weekly basis.

  • The benefit payable under this Plan will be reduced by the amount of Pension Plan Benefits attributable to the applicable Pension Plan.

More Definitions of Pension Plan Benefits

Pension Plan Benefits shall be deemed to mean the benefits that actually would have been payable but for such other reason. Examples of such other reasons include, but are not limited to, the following: (a) A reduction in pension benefits as a result of a distress termination (as described in ERISA 4041(c) or any comparable successor provision of law) of a Pension Plan. In such a case, the Pension Plan Benefits will be deemed to refer to the payments that would have been made from the Pension Plan had it terminated on a fully funded basis as a standard termination (as described in ERISA 4041(b) or any comparable successor provision of law).

  • Pension Benefit means a pension, annuity, gratuity or similar allowance which is payable—

  • Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Pension Benefit Plan means at any time any employee pension benefit plan (including a Multiple Employer Plan, but not a Multiemployer Plan) which is covered by Title IV of ERISA or is subject to the minimum funding standards under Section 412 of the Code and either (i) is maintained by any member of the Controlled Group for employees of any member of the Controlled Group; or (ii) has at any time within the preceding five years been maintained by any entity which was at such time a member of the Controlled Group for employees of any entity which was at such time a member of the Controlled Group.

  • Retirement Plans means the retirement income, supplemental executive retirement, excess benefits and retiree medical, life and similar benefit plans providing retirement perquisites, benefits and service credit for benefits at least as great in the aggregate as are payable thereunder prior to a Change in Control;

  • Non-U.S. Benefit Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.20(a).

  • Deferred Compensation Plan means any plan, agreement or arrangement maintained by the Company from time to time that provides opportunities for deferral of compensation.

  • Retirement Savings Plan means the Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Retirement Savings Plan, as amended from time to time, together with any similar, succeeding or substitute plan.

  • Company Pension Plan means each: (a) Company Employee Plan that is an “employee pension benefit plan,” within the meaning of Section 3(2) of ERISA; or (b) other occupational pension plan, including any final salary or money purchase plan.

  • SERP has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 5(c) hereof.

  • Retirement Plan means a plan which provides retirement benefits to you and which is not funded wholly by your contributions. The term shall not include a profit-sharing plan, informal salary continuation plan, registered retirement savings plan, stock ownership plan, 401(K) or a non-qualified plan of deferred compensation.

  • Termination Benefits means the benefits described in Section 4.1(b).

  • Canadian Defined Benefit Pension Plan means a Canadian Pension Plan that contains or has ever contained a “defined benefit provision” as such term is defined in Section 147.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).

  • Pension Plan means any “employee pension benefit plan” (as such term is defined in Section 3(2) of ERISA), other than a Multiemployer Plan, that is subject to Title IV of ERISA and is sponsored or maintained by the Borrower or any ERISA Affiliate or to which the Borrower or any ERISA Affiliate contributes or has an obligation to contribute, or in the case of a multiple employer or other plan described in Section 4064(a) of ERISA, has made contributions at any time during the immediately preceding five plan years.

  • Canadian Benefit Plans means all material employee benefit plans of any nature or kind whatsoever that are not Canadian Pension Plans and are maintained or contributed to by any Credit Party having employees in Canada.

  • pension means a pension or annual allowance paid under the Public Service Superannuation Act (PSSA), R.S., 1985, c. P-36, and any increases paid pursuant to the Supplementary Retirement Benefits Act, R.S., 1985, c. S-24 as it affects the PSSA. It does not include pensions payable pursuant to the Canadian Forces Superannuation Act, R.S., 1985, c. C-17, the Defence Services Pension Continuation Act, 1970, c. D-3, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pension Continuation Act , 1970, c. R-10, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Superannuation Act, R.S., 1985, c. R-11, the Members of Parliament Retiring Allowances Act, R.S. 1985, c. M-5, and that portion of pension payable to the Canada Pension Plan Act, R.S., 1985, c. C-8.

  • Separation Benefits has the meaning accorded such term in Section 3.04.

  • Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit means an annual amount (before taking into account federal and state income taxes), payable in monthly installments throughout the Payout Period. Such benefit is projected pursuant to the Agreement for the purpose of determining the Contributions to be made to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Phantom Contributions to be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account). The annual Contributions and Phantom Contributions have been actuarially determined, using the assumptions set forth in Exhibit A, in order to fund for the projected Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for which Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) are being made (or recorded) is set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Nonqualified deferred compensation plan means a compensation plan described in Section 3121(v)(2)(C) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • SERP Benefit means the benefit described in Section 5.1.
