Per Named User definition

Per Named User means Server Software licensed wherein one Named User using any Device is licensed to access or utilizes the services of the Server Software on an unlimited number of Servers running the Server Software.
Per Named User. A license (with a Classification at the appropriate Level, if applicable) is required for all individual employees or contractors or clients of Customer to whom access has been granted to the Product on a computer or multiple computers typically via the issuance of a unique ID regardless of whether the individual is actively using the Product at any given time. per node: A license is required for every Node which the Product manages and/or monitors. “Node” means a laptop, desktop, or any virtual or physical Computer that provides a service for other Computers or users connected to it via the Internet, extranet, intranet, or other networked technologies.
Per Named User refers to a licensable quantity where the Software is licensed to a Reseller Customer whose use is restricted to a specified number of Named Users. Named User means the named or specified (by password or other user identification) individuals who are employees of Reseller Customer or of third parties and who are formally assigned by Reseller Customer to use the Reseller’s MOVEX Business Engine JAVA or RPG applications within the scope of their employment or engagement.

  • If the Server Software is licensed on a Per Named User basis, then the allocation and identification of the individual Named User must be maintained by Licensee on file at Licensee’s location for a minimum of 30 days before the allocation and identification of the Named User can be moved or transferred to a different, separate and unique individual.

  • Named User means a named individual authorized to use the Software (or any portion thereof) regardless of whether the individual is actively using the Software at any given time; a non-human operated device will be counted as one or multiple Named User(s) (depending on the nature of operation) in addition to all individuals authorized to use the Software; and “Permitted Users“ means Named Users, concurrent Users or other types of Users being authorized to use the Software, as set forth in the applicable Notification Form.
