Performance Incentive Award definition

Performance Incentive Award. A program instituted by the Department that rewards or penalizes managed care organizations with possible incentive payments based upon the quality of care received by Virginia’s Medicaid/CHIP members. “Person-Centered Planning” A process, directed by an individual or his or her family/caregiver, as appropriate, intended to identify the needs, strengths, capacities, preferences, expectations, and desired outcomes for the individual. “Person with Ownership or Control InterestIn accordance with 42 CFR 455 Subpart B, means a person or corporation that owns, directly or indirectly, five (5) percent or more of the Contractor’s capital or stock or received five (5) percent of the total assets of the Contractor in any mortgage, deed of trust, note, or other obligation secured in whole or in part by the Contractor or by its property or assets, or is an officer, director, or partner of the Contractor.
Performance Incentive Award means amounts awarded pursuant to Article VI hereof.

Examples of Performance Incentive Award in a sentence

  • Except as provided in Section 4 below, the Participant will become fully vested in the Long-Term Performance Incentive Award if the Participant remains employed with TVA without interruption through September 30, 2018.

  • Unless otherwise provided in the applicable Award Agreement, a Participant must be employed by the Company or a Subsidiary on the last day of a Performance Period to be eligible for payment in respect of a Performance Incentive Award for the Performance Period.

  • A Participant will be eligible to receive payment in respect of a Performance Incentive Award only to the extent that: (A) the Performance Goals for the period are achieved; and (B) the Performance Formula as applied against the Performance Goals determines that all or some portion of the Participant’s Performance Incentive Award has been earned for the Performance Period.

  • In addition, the Committee will have the authority to make an Award of a cash bonus to any Participant and designate the Award as a Performance Incentive Award to qualify the Award as “performance-based compensation” under Section 162(m) of the Code.

  • DCH will establish the percentage of the withhold funds to be allocated to the performance bonus template and the percentage to be allocated to the Targeted Performance Incentive Award.


More Definitions of Performance Incentive Award

Performance Incentive Award means the sum of a two-year annuity (using 6.95% as a discount rate and not discounting the first period) of a percentage of EM&V-NSB as described below and further described in paragraph 5.b.ii and Appendix B of the Stipulation:
Performance Incentive Award means a dollar amount determined in accordance with the following steps:
Performance Incentive Award means for each Plan Year the performance incentive award under MIP or IMIP transferred to or on behalf of the Participant in that Plan Year.
Performance Incentive Award means the sum of a two-year annuity (using 6.95%
Performance Incentive Award means the sum of a eighteen month annuity (using the Time-Value Adjustment Factor, not discounting the first period) of a percentage of EM&V-NSB as described below.

Related to Performance Incentive Award

  • Annual Incentive Award means an Award made subject to attainment of performance goals (as described in Section 14) over a performance period of up to one year (the Company’s fiscal year, unless otherwise specified by the Committee).

  • Incentive Award means the right to receive a cash payment to the extent Performance Goals are achieved, and shall include “Annual Incentive Awards” as described in Section 10 and “Long-Term Incentive Awards” as described in Section 11.

  • Cash Incentive Award means a cash award granted pursuant to Section 8 of this Plan.

  • Performance Award means any right granted under Section 6(d) of the Plan.

  • Performance Compensation Award means any Award designated by the Committee as a Performance Compensation Award pursuant to Section 11 of the Plan.

  • Performance Cash Award means an award of cash granted pursuant to the terms and conditions of Section 6(c)(ii).

  • Other Incentive Award means an Award denominated in, linked to or derived from Shares or value metrics related to Shares, granted pursuant to Section 9.6 hereof.

  • Performance Bonus means the performance bonus in respect of each Class payable to the General Partner by the Partnership which will be equal to 20% of the product of: (a) the number of Units of that Class outstanding on the Performance Bonus Date; and (b) the amount by which the Net Asset Value per Unit of that Class on the Performance Bonus Date (prior to giving effect to the Performance Bonus) plus the aggregate value of all distributions per Unit of that Class during the Performance Bonus Term exceeds $25.00.

  • Performance Award Formula means, for any Performance Award, a formula or table established by the Committee pursuant to Section 10.3 which provides the basis for computing the value of a Performance Award at one or more levels of attainment of the applicable Performance Goal(s) measured as of the end of the applicable Performance Period.

  • Performance Share Award means an Award entitling the recipient to acquire shares of Stock upon the attainment of specified Performance Goals.

  • Performance Unit Award means an Award granted under Article XI of the Plan under which, upon the satisfaction of predetermined Performance Goals, a cash payment shall be made to the Holder, based on the number of Units awarded to the Holder.

  • Performance Share Unit or “PSU” means a unit equivalent in value to a Share, credited by means of a bookkeeping entry in the books of the Corporation in accordance with Article 6;

  • Incentive Bonus means a bonus opportunity awarded under Section 9 pursuant to which a Participant may become entitled to receive an amount based on satisfaction of such performance criteria as are specified in the Award Agreement.

  • Performance Awards means Performance Units, Performance Shares or either or both of them.

  • Cash Award means an award denominated in cash.

  • Bonus Award means a bonus award made pursuant to Section 9.

  • Performance Award Agreement means a written agreement between the Company and a Participant with respect to a Performance Award.

  • Long-Term Incentive Award means an Award described in Section 6(g) hereof that is based upon a period in excess of one year.

  • Performance Stock Unit means a right granted to a Participant pursuant to Section 8.2, to receive Stock, the payment of which is contingent upon achieving certain Performance Goals or other performance-based targets established by the Committee.

  • Target Award means the target award, at 100% of target level performance achievement, payable under the Plan to a Participant for the Performance Period, as determined by the Committee in accordance with Section 3(b).

  • Performance Share Units means Performance Share Units granted to an Eligible Individual under Section 9.1(b).

  • Performance Shares means Shares or an Award denominated in Shares which may be earned in whole or in part upon attainment of performance criteria established by the Administrator.

  • Performance Grant means an Award subject, in part, to the terms, conditions and restrictions described in Section 9, pursuant to which the recipient may become entitled to receive cash, Class A Shares, Other Real Goods Securities or property, or other forms of payment, or any combination thereof, as determined by the Committee.

  • Performance Stock Award means a Stock Award granted under the terms and conditions of Section 6(c)(i).

  • LTIP Award means each or any, as the context requires, LTIP Award issued under any Equity Incentive Plan.

  • Clawback Eligible Incentive Compensation means all Incentive-based Compensation Received by an Executive Officer (i) on or after the effective date of the applicable Nasdaq rules, (ii) after beginning service as an Executive Officer, (iii) who served as an Executive Officer at any time during the applicable performance period relating to any Incentive-based Compensation (whether or not such Executive Officer is serving at the time the Erroneously Awarded Compensation is required to be repaid to the Company), (iv) while the Company has a class of securities listed on a national securities exchange or a national securities association, and (v) during the applicable Clawback Period (as defined below).
