Permitted Occupant definition

Permitted Occupant or “Occupant” includes any person allowed to live at the Property under licence to the Tenant and whereby no tenancy is created between the licensee and the Tenant, nor the licensee and the Landlord
Permitted Occupant shall have the meaning set forth in Section 12.10 hereof.
Permitted Occupant means any entity which, in every case, will use the Premises solely for the Permitted Uses, and (a) that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by or is under common control with Tenant (“control” shall mean the direct or indirect ownership of fifty percent (50%) or more of all classes of voting interests); (b) with or into which Tenant is merged or consolidated; or (c) that acquires all or substantially all of Tenant’s assets.

Examples of Permitted Occupant in a sentence

  • Landlord hereby agrees that the provisions of this Article 17 shall not apply to the shared occupancy of individual offices in the Premises with Tenant by individuals renting not more than one (1) such office (the “Permitted Occupant”), provided that the space occupied by the Permitted Occupant shall not be separately demised or contain separate entrances, demarcations, or reception areas and the occupancy by the Permitted Occupant shall be upon and subject to all of the terms and conditions of this Lease.

  • Permitted Occupant: the person or organisation actually occupying the Property including the Tenant.

  • Tenant acknowledges that Landlord shall have no responsibility or liability for the allocation or use of the Premises between Tenant and any Permitted Occupant.

  • Failure to comply with this provision shall entitle the University to exercise its rights and remedies set forth in Section “J” above, including without limitation the eviction of and/or judicial action against the Resident, the Permitted Occupant, or their respective guests.

  • The right of a Permitted Occupant to occupy the Premises are governed by the terms of this Agreement and shall expire or terminate at the same time as Lessee’s rights expire or terminate hereunder.

  • In the event that the Resident cancels this Contract with the authorization of the University prior to taking occupancy of the Premises, the University shall be put to a certain amount of expense in securing a replacement occupant or reassigning the Permitted Occupant who was previously to be assigned to the Premises, the precise amount of which is difficult and impracticable to ascertain.

  • No disputes among Tenant and any Permitted Occupant shall in any way affect the obligations of Tenant hereunder.

  • However, nothing in this Section 8.3 shall diminish Landlord’s rights under the Lease or imply that Landlord has any duties to any Permitted Occupant.

  • Provided Tenant complies with the Permitted Occupant Conditions (as defined below), then, notwithstanding anything to the contrary set forth in this Lease, Tenant shall have the right to allow employees of one or more entities with whom Tenant has a business relationship (“Tenant Venturers”) to use designated portions of the Premises without execution and approval by Landlord of a separate sublease for such use.

  • Acceptance of any portion of a rent payment from any person other than a Permitted Occupant is also an unpermitted sublease that constitutes a breach of this Agreement and may result in immediate eviction.


More Definitions of Permitted Occupant

Permitted Occupant means any person who occupies a Unit and whose occupation of such Unit is not prohibited;
Permitted Occupant if used in the Agreement, includes any person who is licensed by the Landlord or his Xxxxxx & Co local office to reside at the Premises and who will be bound by all the terms of this Agreement apart from the payment of rent.
Permitted Occupant means an individual who is permitted to be in occupancy of an apartment by operation of law or by permission of the Tenant of Record.
Permitted Occupant means any entity described in paragraphs (b) or (c) of this Section 19 which has become a subtenant of whatever tier of all or a portion of the premises or to which the Lease has been assigned pursuant to and in accordance with all the terms and conditions of paragraphs (b) and (c) respectively of this Section 19 and shall also include any desk space user who meets the requirements of paragraph (b) of this Section 19.
Permitted Occupant means Tenant, a subtenant or other person that is permitted to occupy all or a portion of the Premises pursuant to this Article 9, for so long as such subtenant or other person is so permitted to occupy all of a portion of the Premises and a Permitted Affiliated Person (as such term is defined in Section 9.17 hereof).
Permitted Occupant means Tenant and any other Person that occupies all or any portion of the Premises in accordance with the provisions of Article 12 hereof.

  • Permitted Occupier means if used in the Agreement, any person who is licensed or permitted by the Landlord to reside at the Property together with the Tenant and who does so as a rent free licensee of the Tenant.

  • bicycle parking space – occupant means an area that is equipped with a bicycle rack, locker or bicycle stacker for the purpose of parking and securing bicycles, and:

  • Authorized occupant means a person entitled to occupy a dwelling unit with the consent of the

  • Child-occupied facility means a building or portion of a building constructed prior to 1978, visited regularly by the same child, age six years or younger on at least two different days within any week (Sunday through Saturday period), provided that each day’s visit lasts at least three hours and the combined weekly visit lasts at least six hours, and the combined annual visits last at least 60 hours. Child-occupied facilities may include, but are not limited to, day-care centers, preschools and kindergarten classrooms.

  • Occupant means any person or persons over the age of eighteen years in possession of the property.

  • Prior Occupancy means Owner’s use of all or parts of the Project before Substantial Completion, as more fully set forth in Section 6.08 A.

  • Transient occupancy means occupancy in transient lodging that has all of the following

  • Regulated occupation means an occupation in which a person is licensed, certified, or registered by one (1) of the following:

  • Rentable Area of the Premises The amount of square footage set forth in Section 1.01(10).

  • Leased Property shall have the meaning given such term in Section 2.1.

  • the Premises means the building or part of the building booked and referred to in the contract

  • Occupancy means the use or intended use of a building or part thereof for the shelter or support of persons, animals or property.

  • Own Occupation means your occupation that you were performing when your Disability or Partial Disability began. For the purposes of determining Disability under this plan, Liberty will consider your occupation as it is normally performed in the national economy.

  • Permitted Installation means the activities and the limits to those activities described in Table 1.1.1 of this Permit.

  • Leased Premises means the Leased Premises as defined in Paragraph 1.

  • domestic premises means any premises used wholly or partly as a dwelling or intended for such use;

  • Permitted Lease means a lease permitted under Section 4.02(b) of the Trust Indenture.

  • Permitted Sublessee means the sublessee under a Permitted Sublease.

  • Renovator means an individual who has been issued a license by the Board to perform renovations or to direct others who perform renovations.

  • Open space means undeveloped land, a naturally landscaped area, or a formal or man-made landscaped area that provides a connective link or a buffer between other resources.
