Personal care assistant definition
Personal care assistant or "PCA" means an individual employed by a personal care assistance agency who provides personal care assistance services.

An individual who has ever been convicted of a crime specified in Minnesota Rules, part 4668.0020, subpart 14, or a comparable crime in another jurisdiction is disqualified from being a personal care assistant, unless the individual meets the rehabilitation criteria specified in Minnesota Rules, part 4668.0020, subpart 15.
