Plant waste definition

Plant waste means waste of the plant Cannabis sativa L. that is not hazardous waste, as defined in section 40141 of the Public Resources Code, and is solid waste, as defined in section 40191 of the Public Resources Code, that has been made unusable and unrecognizable. For the purpose of this subdivision, plant waste is deemed “unusable and unrecognizable” when it is ground and incorporated with other ground material so that the resulting mixture is at least fifty percent non cannabis material by volume.

Plant waste. Room: (MEDIUM to HIGH ODOR IMPACT) Any unusable bi-product of cannabis plants will be placed in the self-contained Plant Waste Room in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and mixed into a 50/50 compost mixture that will render the product unrecognizable. The product will be removed from the facility in a closed/sealed container by a State approved third-party service. Security cameras will be installed to record activities in the area of the Plant Waste Room (storage room) as well as the areas between the storage room and where said material is loaded onto vehicle(s) for disposal.
