Playing Season definition

Playing Season means the period between the date on which the first competitive fixture in the Competition is played each year until the date on which the last competitive fixture in the Competition is played.
Playing Season means the period between the date on which the first league fixture in the Competition is played each year until the date on which the last league fixture in the Competition is played. For Clubs participating in play off matches this does include the period when play off matches are played.
Playing Season means the period specified by the Board in accordance with Rule 11.1.1 which shall be between the date in each football season on which the first Competition Match is played until the date on which the last Competition Match is played.

  • The Teams gaining the highest number of points in their respective divisions at the end of the Playing Season shall be adjudged the winners.

  • Any alteration made during the Playing Season to these Rules shall not take effect until the following Playing Season.

  • A Club must notify the Company not later than 31st March each year of its intention to withdraw from the Competition at the end of that Playing Season.

  • Any Club wishing to change its colours during the Playing Season must obtain permission from the Management Committee.

  • Each Club shall submit to the Board a copy of the insurance policy document together with the last premium payment receipt fourteen days prior to the start of the Playing Season.


More Definitions of Playing Season

Playing Season means the period beginning September 1 of each year (or the first game of the team’s regular season, if earlier) through forty-eight (48) hours after the conclusion of the Tier I National Championships.
