Presiding Arbitrator definition

Presiding Arbitrator means “ an Arbitrator” appointed by the two arbitrators appointed by the applicant and the respondent respectively as provided herein;
Presiding Arbitrator means the arbitrator designated in the arbitration agreement as the presiding arbitrator or chairman of the arbitral tribunal, a single arbitrator or the third arbitrator appointed under subsection 13(3);
Presiding Arbitrator has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 8.3(c)(i). (100)

Examples of Presiding Arbitrator in a sentence

  • If any party fails to nominate an arbitrator, or if the two party-nominated arbitrators fail to nominate the Presiding Arbitrator, within the time periods specified herein, then any such arbitrator shall, upon any party’s request, be appointed by the ICC Court in accordance with the Rules.

  • The two arbitrators so nominated shall, in consultation with the parties, nominate the Presiding Arbitrator within thirty (30) days of the confirmation by the ICC Court of the second arbitrator.

  • If any Party fails to nominate an arbitrator, or if the two Party-nominated arbitrators fail to nominate the Presiding Arbitrator, within the time periods specified herein, then any such arbitrator shall, upon any Party’s written request, be appointed by the ICC Court in accordance with the Rules.
