Prevailing Rate definition

Prevailing Rate means, in respect of any currencies on any day, the spot rate of exchange between the relevant currencies prevailing as at or about 12 noon (London time) on that date as appearing on or derived from the Relevant Page or, if such a rate cannot be determined at such time, the rate prevailing as at or about 12 noon (London time) on the immediately preceding day on which such rate can be so determined or, if such rate cannot be so determined by reference to the Relevant Page, the rate determined in such other manner as an Independent Financial Adviser shall in good faith prescribe.
Prevailing Rate means, in respect of any pair of currencies on any day, the spot mid-rate of exchange between the relevant currencies prevailing as at 12 noon (London time) on that date (for the purpose of this definition, the “Original Date”) as appearing on or derived from Bloomberg page BFIX (or any successor page) in respect of such pair of currencies, or, if such a rate cannot be so determined, the rate prevailing as at 12 noon (London time) on the immediately preceding day on which such rate can be so determined, provided that if such immediately preceding day falls earlier than the fifth day prior to the Original Date or if such rate cannot be so determined (all as determined in good faith by the Calculation Agent), the Prevailing Rate in respect of the Original Date shall be the rate determined in such other manner as an Independent Adviser shall consider appropriate.
Prevailing Rate means the rate of interest we apply after the Chosen Product ends or you breach the Terms and Conditions for the Chosen Product. For example, the prevailing rate can be the Variable Rate Call rate;

  • The Prevailing Rate Schedule MUST be included in the specifications for the contract to be awarded and is deemed part of the public work contract.

Prevailing Rate means the rate, as determined by the Calculation Agent in its sole and absolute discretion, for deposits in the Financing Level Currency in the inter-bank market with a maturity of either one month or overnight, as selected by the Calculation Agent in its sole and absolute discretion;
