Private Yard definition

Private Yard means the Limited Common Element yard areas described as the appurtenant to a Unit, including the “Yard” and “Entry & Side Yard”, as depicted on the Condominium Map and any improvements thereon. The Private Yard shall go up to and be measured from the interior side of any hedge or wall surrounding the Private Yard. A specific Unit's Private Yard is identified by the Unit number preceded by “Yard” or “Entry & Side Yard” (for example, Unit D may have its appurtenant “Yard D“ and “Entry & Side Yard D” on the Condominium Map as its “Private Yard”).
Private Yard means that portion of a Lot or each Lot outside of the structure or structures on the Lot which is designated from time to time by the Board as an area of Lot Owner landscaping responsibility, and not within the responsibility of the Association. Such exterior, unbuilt areas on Lots are small, and are generally intended to be patios, flower beds and vegetable gardens or other similar areas suitable and desirable for individual maintenance and not suitable and desirable for common maintenance through the Association.
Private Yard. This frontage type is intended to establish a streetscape with landscaped front yards, a visual connection to primary buildings from the sidewalk, and street wall edges maintained with elements like low fences, low walls and low height vegetation.
