Procurement Appeals Board definition

Procurement Appeals Board means an independent panel of five disinterested individuals appointed by the Mayor, which individuals shall have a thorough knowledge of the purchasing process and practices, and laws applicable thereto. Members of such board shall be appointed for three-year, staggered terms; provided, however, two of the members first appointed shall serve for a period of one year, two shall serve for a period of two years, and one for a period of three years, with each appointee thereafter, except for appointees filling a vacancy, serving for a period of three years.
