Professional Meetings definition

Professional Meetings. The Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, may attend professional meetings at the local, county and state levels. Prior approval of the Superintendent shall be obtained when the Assistant Superintendent, Human Resources, attends out-of-state functions, and the District shall pay all actual and necessary expenses of attendance.
Professional Meetings is defined as those meetings conducted to develop the skills and qualifications of LPNs for the purpose of enhancing and upgrading the quality of patient care. In the event that an LPN is subject to low census, the LPN may elect to utilize professional meeting time to complete Hospital approved training and/or course work.

Examples of Professional Meetings in a sentence

  • Professional Meetings - Up to two (2) meetings per month for general faculty meetings, school improvement meetings and other meetings directly related to the Unit members assignment.

  • The Superintendent and the Association shall appoint a Professional Meetings Committee, consisting of three (3) teachers and three (3) administrators.

  • The delegate and alternate to the OEA/NEA Convention shall be released under Professional Meetings Leave.

  • Leave approved by the Superintendent shall not require Board approval to the extent that funds are unencumbered in the Professional Meetings Fund.

  • Funds shall be allocated each year for use in the Professional Meetings Fund account for members in the bargaining unit to attend meetings which are considered to be for professional improvement of the individual and/or for the welfare and benefit of the school district.

  • Further, any other payment provided by Professional Meetings Leave shall not be the responsibility of the Board of Education.
