Professional quality definition

Professional quality means that the surface of the sign to be used must be smooth and rigid in nature and not made from paper or corrugated cardboard, unless laminated.
Professional quality or "professionally designed" means a sign that appears to be designed, manufactured, and installed by a professional sign contractor. Professional signs are affixed or supported by sturdy and visually attractive materials. Professional signs are typically created digitally, unless created by a professional artist using professional quality signage materials. Professional signs are designed to withstand the elements, including wind, rain, and fading that may occur from sun exposure. Professionally designed signs do not include signs that are taped to a surface, signs that are wrinkled or curled, signs made of flexible material that is not taut, signs that are painted directly on a window (with the exception of holiday or seasonal decorations).
Professional quality does not mean that a band has to go to a big fancy studio, and self-recorded projects are absolutely acceptable, provided the quality is of a measurably high level.
