Protections definition

Protections means the undertakings given by the Company to the CWU in clause 3 (Protections) of this Agreement;

  • Rights means, with respect to any Person, securities or obligations convertible into or exercisable or exchangeable for, or giving any Person any right to subscribe for or acquire, or any options, calls or commitments relating to, or any stock appreciation right or other instrument the value of which is determined in whole or in part by reference to the market price or value of, shares of capital stock of such Person.

  • Privileges means exclusive privileges as set out in the E-Privilege which may be, from time to time, updated or amended by the Company;

  • Copyrights means any and all copyright rights, copyright applications, copyright registrations and like protections in each work or authorship and derivative work thereof, whether published or unpublished and whether or not the same also constitutes a trade secret, now or hereafter existing, created, acquired or held.

  • UK Data Protection Laws means the Data Protection Xxx 0000 (incorporating the UK GDPR) and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, and the laws implementing or supplementing them;

  • Licenses means all licenses, permits, certificates of authority, authorizations, approvals, registrations, franchises, and similar consents granted or issued by any Person and are associated with or necessary to operate the Company and/or used in connection with the Business.

  • Benefits means any treatment, facility, equipment, drug, device, supply or service that you receive reimbursement for under a plan. BLUECARD is a national program in which we and other Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans participate. BLUE DISTINCTION CENTERS are network providers who are recognized by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association for delivering high-quality, effective, cost-efficient specialty care.

  • Inventions means all discoveries, concepts and ideas, whether patentable or not, including but not limited to, processes, methods, formulas, compositions, techniques, articles and machines, as well as improvements thereof or “know-how” related thereto, relating at the time of conception or reduction to practice to the business engaged in by the Company, or any actual or anticipated research or development by the Company.

  • Trademarks means any trademark and servicemark rights, whether registered or not, applications to register and registrations of the same and like protections, and the entire goodwill of the business of Borrower connected with and symbolized by such trademarks.

  • Data Protection Laws means all laws and regulations that govern the access, use, disclosure, or protection of Personal Data to which a party is subject with respect to the Service or the Software.

  • Patents means all patents, patent applications and like protections including without limitation improvements, divisions, continuations, renewals, reissues, extensions and continuations-in-part of the same.

  • Applications means all of the following: “New Drug Application” (“NDA”), “Abbreviated New Drug Application” (“ANDA”), “Supplemental New Drug Application” (“SNDA”), or “Marketing Authorization Application” (“MAA”), the applications for a Product filed or to be filed with the FDA pursuant to 21 C.F.R. Part 314 et seq., and all supplements, amendments, and revisions thereto, any preparatory work, registration dossier, drafts and data necessary for the preparation thereof, and all correspondence between the Respondent and the FDA related thereto. The term “Application” also includes an “Investigational New Drug Application” (“IND”) filed or to be filed with the FDA pursuant to 21 C.F.R. Part 312, and all supplements, amendments, and revisions thereto, any preparatory work, registration dossier, drafts and data necessary for the preparation thereof, and all correspondence between the Respondent and the FDA related thereto.

  • Designs means your plans, layouts, specifications, drawings and designs for the proposed furnishings, fixtures, equipment, signs and décor of the Hotel that use and incorporate the Standards.
