public transport definition

public transport means a vehicle operated by a passenger transport company or by a bus company in the provision of a public transport service;
public transport means a vehicle operated by a passenger transport company or by a bus company in the provision of public transport service but does not include a school bus;

public transport means any land, sea or air conveyance which has fixed and established routes only and is operated under a license issued by a governmental authority having jurisdiction, for the transportation of fare paying passengers. This excludes rented vehicles, vehicle on hire, taxi services, private hire cars, buses, coaches and all modes of transportation that are chartered or arranged as part of a tour even if the services are regularly scheduled.
public transport means the carriage of passengers for a charge by way of regular services, occasional services or taxi services as well as the carriage of a vehicle and its trailer for a charge on ship, pleasure craft and ferry routes.
public transport means any regularly scheduled mode of transportation provided and operated by a duly licensed carrier and meant for the local public interest to move around and which is recognised by respective countries (bus, ferry, hovercraft, hydrofoil, ship, train, tram or underground train).
