  • Pyramiding means the payment of two (2) or more premiums under different provisions of this Collective Agreement for the same hours worked.

  • Overtime means work performed by a full-time employee in excess or outside of their regularly scheduled hours of work.

  • Railway Code Systems means necessary systems within the meaning of the Systems Code;

  • Wages is defined as the amount of money the employee would have otherwise received over a period of absence, excluding overtime.

  • Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act means the Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act, 2017;

  • Payroll Taxes means State Unemployment Insurance (SUI), Federal Unemployment Insurance (FUI), and payments pursuant to the Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA).

  • Reported criminal history means any formal criminal justice system charges and dispositions including arrests, detentions, indictments, criminal information, convictions, deferred adjudications, and probations in any state or federal jurisdiction that is obtained by a means other than the Fingerprint-based Applicant Clearinghouse of Texas (FACT).

  • Code Section 409A means Section 409A of the Code and the regulations and guidance promulgated thereunder.

  • Day Worker means a person who works his/her ordinary hours from Monday to Friday, inclusive, and who commences work on such days at or after 5.30 a.m. and before 10.00 a.m., otherwise than as part of a shift system.

  • Goods and Services Tax or “GST” means the goods and services tax chargeable under the Goods and Services Tax Act (Cap. 117A);

  • seasonal worker means a worker who has been paid wages by a seasonal employer for work performed only during the normal seasonal work period.

  • Shift means the period of scheduled straight-time working hours on a scheduled workday where the hours scheduled are consecutive except for the meal period.

  • Network Code means the document now known as the Network Code and formerly known as the Railtrack Track Access Conditions 1995;

  • Building Code Act means the Building Code Act, 1992, S.O. 1992, c.23, as amended;

  • Uniform Network Code means the uniform network code as defined in Standard Special Condition A11(6) of National Grid’s transporters licence, as such code may be amended from time to time in accordance with the terms thereof.

  • Employee Contribution means any contribution made to the Plan by or on behalf of a Participant that is included in the Participant's gross income in the year in which made and that is maintained under a separate account to which earnings and losses are allocated.
