Qualified individual with a dis- ability. ’ means an individual with a disability
Qualified individual with a dis- ability means an individual with a dis- ability who satisfies the requisite skill, experience, education and other job-re- lated requirements of the employment position such individual holds or de- sires, and who, with or without reason- able accommodation, can perform the essential functions of such position.   • Qualifying exigency means a situation where the eligible employee seeks leave for one or more of the following reasons:

  • Disabled individual means a person older than 13 years of age who by reason of age or physical or mental disease, defect, or injury is substantially unable to protect the person's self from harm or to provide food, shelter, or medical care for the person's self.
