Qualified Teacher Status definition

Qualified Teacher Status or "QTS" means the accreditation that enables individuals to teach in state-maintained and special schools in England and Wales;
Qualified Teacher Status means the accreditation which an individual must obtain in order to teach in state-maintained schools in England and Wales; 1.76. “Scholarship Agreement” means an agreement made between a Club and an Academy Player in PLYD Form 1; 1.77. “School Day” means the times when the pupils of a school are required to attend that school as determined by its governors; 1.78. “Season 2019/20 Registration Extension” means an agreement between an Academy Player and a Club to extend his registration so that it expires on a date falling 12 weeks after the Academy Return Date; 1.79. “Senior Academy Physiotherapist” means the Official referred to in Rule 95; 1.80. “Senior Professional Development Coach” means the Official referred to in Rule 71; 1.81. “Sports Science and Medicine/Performance Support Programme” means an integrated, interdisciplinary programme for the provision of sports science, medical services, performance support and analysis as more particularly described in Rules 217 to 220; 1.82. “Sports Therapist” means a Person who holds at least an undergraduate degree in sports therapy; 1.83. “Technical Board” has the meaning set out in Rules 28 to 30; 1.84. “Tournament” means a grouping of competitive matches between three or more Clubs (or clubs) whose results are given significance (e.g. there may be a winner of the Tournament) and which are typically played together at one venue and over a short period of time (e.g. one day or a few days); 1.85. “Training Camp” means an event for the Academy Players of one Club and which lasts for one or more days and at which a variety of coaching and other on-pitch and off-pitch activities takes place; 1.86. “Training Model” means the Full Time Training Model, the Hybrid Training Model or the Part Time Training Model; 1.87. “Trialist” means a player playing in age groups Under 9 to Under 21 who is attending an Academy on trial under the provisions of Rules 235 or 236; 1.88. “Vision Statement” means a written statement of the Club’s desired culture, values, ambitions and strategic aims, and the behaviours and activities which the Club has adopted and will adopt (including within its Academy) in order to achieve the same; 1.89. “Youth Development Phase” means the Under 12 to Under 16 age groups inclusive; and 1.90. “Youth Development Phase Games Programme” means the games programmes organised by the League and Football League for teams in each of the Under 12 to Under 16 age groups, full details of which are set out in Rules 13...

Examples of Qualified Teacher Status in a sentence

  • From 31 October 2015 a mandatory reporting duty requires teachers to report ‘known’ cases of FGM in under 18s, which are identified in the course of their professional work, to the police.• The duty applies to all persons in the Academy who are employed or engaged to carry out ‘teaching work’ in the Academy, whether or not they have Qualified Teacher Status.

  • Level I Status exists at any date if, as of the last day of the fiscal quarter of the Borrower referred to in the most recent Financials, the Leverage Ratio is less than 1.00 to 1.00.

  • Qualified wages means wages you paid during the one-year period beginning with the date an ex-offender begins working for you. Only wages that are subject to unemployment tax under IRC Section 3306 qualify. This includes amounts in excess of the maximum taxable wage. Wages paid during any period for which you received federally funded payments for on-the-job training for the ex-offender do not qualify.

  • Level VI Status exists at any date if, on such date, the Borrower has not qualified for Level I Status, Level II Status, Level III Status, Level IV Status or Level V Status.

  • Non-Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Eligible veteran means an individual who is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs as meeting all of the following conditions:

  • Level III Status exists at any date if, on such date, (i) the Borrower has not qualified for Level I Status or Level II Status and (ii) the Borrower's Xxxxx'x Rating is Baa2 or better or the Borrower's S&P Rating is BBB or better.

  • Participating Marriage and Family Therapist means a Marriage and Family Therapist who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Qualified Tenant means , at any time, a tenant under a Lease of Property that meets the following criteria: (a) either such tenant is itself in occupancy of such Property or, if such Property is occupied by subtenants of such tenant, no member of the Consolidated Group has reason to believe that the failure of such subtenants to occupy such Property would reasonably be expected to result in such tenant defaulting its monetary obligations under the Lease of such Property to which it is a party as lessee, (b) such tenant is not subject to any proceedings under Debtor Relief Laws, (c) such tenant is not more than one month in arrears on its rent payments due under the Lease of such Property to which it is a party as lessee, and (d) if such tenant has one or more sub-tenants, neither the Borrower nor any of its Subsidiaries has actual knowledge, without inquiry or investigation, of any monetary defaults by such sub-tenant(s) under its sublease with such tenant that would reasonably be expected to result in such tenant defaulting its monetary obligations under the Lease of such Property to which it is a party as lessee.

  • B-BBEE status level of contributor means the B-BBEE status of an entity in terms of a code of good practice on black economic empowerment, issued in terms of section 9(1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act;

  • Level II Status exists at any date if, on such date, (i) the Borrower has not qualified for Level I Status and (ii) the Borrower's Xxxxx'x Rating is Baa1 or better or the Borrower's S&P Rating is BBB+ or better.

  • Qualified Transferee means an “accredited investor” as defined in Rule 501 promulgated under the Securities Act.
