Redemption Treasury Portfolio definition

Redemption Treasury Portfolio means (a) if the Tax Event Redemption Date occurs prior to a successful remarketing of the Debentures pursuant to the terms of Section 5.2 of the Purchase Contract Agreement, a portfolio of zero-coupon U.S. Treasury securities consisting of (i) principal or interest strips of U.S. Treasury securities which mature on or prior to the Stock Purchase Date in an aggregate amount equal to the applicable Redemption Principal Amount and (ii) with respect to each scheduled interest payment date on the Debentures that occurs after the Tax Event Redemption Date and on or before the Stock Purchase Date, principal or interest strips of U.S. Treasury securities which mature on or prior to such date in an aggregate amount equal to the aggregate interest payment that would be due on the applicable Redemption Principal Amount of the Debentures on such date, assuming that the Interest Rate on the Debentures were not reset on the applicable Reset Date, and (b) if the Tax Event Redemption Date occurs after successful remarketing of the Debentures in accordance with Section 5.2 of the Purchase Contract Agreement, a portfolio of zero-coupon U.S. Treasury securities consisting of (i) principal or interest strips of U.S. Treasury securities which mature on or prior to November 15, 2006 in an aggregate amount equal to the applicable Redemption Principal Amount and (ii) with respect to each scheduled interest payment date on the Debentures that occurs after the Tax Event Redemption Date, principal or interest strips of such U.S. Treasury securities which mature on or prior to such date in an aggregate amount equal to the aggregate interest payment that would be due on the applicable Redemption Principal Amount of the Debentures on such date.

  • Treasury Portfolio means, as applicable, the Remarketing Treasury Portfolio or the Special Event Treasury Portfolio.

  • Treasury Portfolio Purchase Price means the lowest aggregate price quoted by a primary U.S. government securities dealer in New York City to the Quotation Agent on the third Business Day immediately preceding the Tax Event Redemption Date for the purchase of the Treasury Portfolio for settlement on the Tax Event Redemption Date.

  • Redemption Day means the last Business Day of each week or such other day or days as the Directors may from time to time determine that Participating Shares in the Fund are available for redemption;
