Refusal to Transport definition

Refusal to Transport means, despite a passenger holding a valid ticket/itinerary, the carrier will not carry or, if necessary, remove the passenger at any point for reasons found in Rule 105, Refusal to Transport.
Refusal to Transport means, despite a passenger holding a valid Ticket, the Carrier will not carry or, if necessary, will remove the passenger from a flight at any point for reasons found in Rule 24.
Refusal to Transport means a situation in which China United Airlines refuses to transport a passenger and his/her luggage due to security or other reasons.

Examples of Refusal to Transport in a sentence

  • The passenger who checks-in after the carrier’s check-in deadline or presents him/herself at the boarding area after the carrier’s boarding time deadline as specified under Rule 40(F), Check-in Time Limits, will not receive denied boarding compensation and will have his/her reservations cancelled as specified under Rule 105, Refusal to Transport.

  • As described in Rule 105, Refusal to Transport, the carrier reserves the right to refuse transportation to any passenger who fails to present all exit, entry, health and other documents required by law, regulation, order, demand or other requirement of the countries where travel is intended or whose travel documents do not appear to be in order.

  • We will refund you as follows when (i) you refuse, or we refuse to allow you, to travel for reasons relating to Rule 12: Acceptance of Children and Infants, Rule 13: Refusal to Transport and Rule 21: Flight Delays, Changes, Cancellations, and Aircraft Changes, (ii) you surrender the unused portion of your Ticket to us, and (iii) the reason for you not traveling is through no fault of your own.
