Registry Services definition

Registry Services are, for purposes of the Agreement, defined as the following: (a) those services that are operations of the registry critical to the following tasks: the receipt of data from registrars concerning registrations of domain names and name servers; provision to registrars of status information relating to the zone servers for the TLD; dissemination of TLD zone files; operation of the registry DNS servers; and dissemination of contact and other information concerning domain name server registrations in the TLD as required by this Agreement; (b) other products or services that the Registry Operator is required to provide because of the establishment of a Consensus Policy as defined in Specification 1; (c) any other products or services that only a registry operator is capable of providing, by reason of its designation as the registry operator; and (d) material changes to any Registry Service within the scope of (a), (b) or (c) above.
Registry Services means all services provided by an ARB approved Offset Project Registry in section 95987.
Registry Services with respect to a particular gTLD, shall have the meaning defined in the agreement between ICANN and the Registry Operator for that gTLD.

Examples of Registry Services in a sentence

  • The process for the introduction of new Registry Services shall not apply to such traffic data.

  • Registry Operator shall not require, as a condition of the provision or use of Registry Services subject to this Section 7.3 in accordance with the requirements of this Agreement, including without limitation Section 7.1 and Appendix 10, that the purchaser of such services purchase any other product or service or refrain from purchasing any other product or service.

  • Registry Operator shall make access to Registry Services, including the shared registration system, available to all ICANN-accredited registrars, subject to the terms of the Registry-Registrar Agreement attached as Appendix 8 hereto.

  • Registrar agrees to pay Registry the fees set forth in Exhibit E for initial and renewal registrations, other Registry Services provided by Registry to Registrar, and a yearly accreditation fee (collectively, "Fees").

  • Only Registry Services defined in (a) and (b) above are subject to the maximum price provisions of Section 7.3, below.


More Definitions of Registry Services

Registry Services means the services provided as an integral part of the operation of the Registry TLD, as defined in the Registry Agreement, and as such definition may be amended from time to time by ICANN and Registry Operator.
Registry Services with respect to a particular TLD, shall have the meaning defined in the agreement between ICANN and the Registry Operator for that TLD.
Registry Services means operation of the registry for the Registry TLDs and shall include receipt of data concerning registrations and nameservers from registrars, provision of status information to registrars, operation of the registry TLD zone servers, and dissemination of TLD zone files.
Registry Services means any and all services provided by a Registry Operator with respect to a Domain Name, including services provided under or in connection with an applicable Registry Agreement.
Registry Services means the services to be performed by the Registry in terms of these Regulations, which services allow the generation of either DNS resource records that are published authoritatively, or responses to Domain Name availability lookup, or Whois requests for some or all of the Domain Names;
Registry Services has the meaning set forth in the Specification 6 of the Registry Agreement.
Registry Services means the registry management, securities administration and digital registrar services provided through the Platform, including through the Globacap management console, and including services relating to registry management, stakeholder management, shareholder communications and corporate actions.
