Representative Amount definition

Representative Amount means an amount that is representative for a single transaction in the relevant market at the relevant time.
Representative Amount means, with respect to any Floating Rate to be determined in accordance with a Screen Rate Determination on an Interest Determination Date, the amount specified as such in the relevant Final Terms or, if none is specified, an amount that is representative for a single transaction in the relevant market at the time.

  • If fewer than two quotations are provided as requested, the relevant Interest Rate for such day will be the arithmetic mean of the rates quoted by major banks in the Substitute Market, selected by the Calculation Agent, at the Relevant Time on that day for loans in the relevant currency for such Interest Rate to leading European banks for a period of the Designated Maturity commencing on that day and for a Representative Amount.

  • Representative Amount means an amount that is representative for a single transaction in the relevant market at the relevant time.

  • If fewer than two such quotations are so provided, the Calculation Agent will request each of three major banks in New York City, as selected by the Calculation Agent, to provide such bank’s rate (expressed as a percentage per annum), as of approximately 11:00 a.m., New York City time, on such Determination Date, for loans in a Representative Amount in U.S. dollars to leading European banks for a three-month period beginning on the second London Banking Day after the Determination Date.

  • If fewer than two quotations are provided as requested, the rate for that Reset Date will be the arithmetic mean of the rates quoted by major banks in the principalfinancial centre of the Relevant Currency (or if the Relevant Currency is the euro, major banks in the euro-zone) at approximately the Interest Determination Time on that Reset Date for loans in the Relevant Currency to leading European banks for a period of the Designated Maturity commencing on that Reset Date and in a Representative Amount.

  • The Representative may use the Representative Amount to pay any fees, costs, expenses or other obligations incurred by the Representative acting in its capacity as such.
