Examples of Representative Plaintiff in a sentence
Settlement Class Members, Representative Plaintiff, and Class Counsel shall be responsible for paying any and all federal, state, and local taxes due on any payments made to them pursuant to the Settlement Agreement.
Additionally, Representative Plaintiff and Settlement Class Members agree and covenant, and each Settlement Class member will be deemed to have agreed and covenanted, not to sue any of the Released Parties with respect to any of the Released Claims, or otherwise assist others in doing so, and agree to be forever barred from doing so, in any court of law, equity, or any other forum.
In no event will Defendants or any of the other Released Parties have any responsibility or liability for taxes or tax-related expenses arising in connection with the payment or distribution of the Settlement Fund to Representative Plaintiff, Settlement Class Members, Class Counsel or any other person or entity.
Representative Plaintiff and Class Counsel represent, covenant, and warrant that they have not directly or indirectly assigned, transferred, encumbered, or purported to assign, transfer, or encumber to any person or entity any portion of any liability, claim, demand, action, cause of action or rights herein released and discharged except as set forth herein.
Based on their evaluation of all of these factors, Representative Plaintiff and Class Counsel have determined that the Settlement is in the best interests of Representative Plaintiff and the Settlement Class.
