Retention Incentive definition

Retention Incentive means the compensation the Covered Executive will be provided pursuant to Section 4.
Retention Incentive means that portion of a Participant’s award under the Bank’s short-term Variable Incentive Compensation Plan (“VIP”), if any, that is subject to forfeiture under the terms of the VIP.
Retention Incentive shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.10(b).

Examples of Retention Incentive in a sentence

  • Non-exempt Public Health Nurse employees that qualify pursuant to the Public Health Nurse Retention Incentive Program Policy shall be paid incentive compensation as follows: Year 1 - $1,000 Year 2 - $1,500 Year 3 - $2,000 Year 4 - $2,500 Year 5 - $3,000 Retention incentive pay will be payable annually, up to year five in each Public Health Nursing classification, on an eligible employee’s position anniversary date.

  • The Public Health Nurses Retention Incentive Program will sunset five years from its commencement or no later than December 31, 2022, and will not continue unless renewed based upon a review of the entire Program’s effectiveness by Yuba County and YCEA.

  • The Company further agrees that if the requirements of subsection 2(b)(i) are not satisfied, the City shall not be obligated to remit the Retention Incentive Payment to the Company as required by this subsection 2(b).

  • Effective the first full bi-weekly pay period after Board of Supervisors approval, Human Services Supervisors-Masters Degree, who supervise Human Services Social Workers-Masters Degree who receive both the 2.5% Retention Incentive and bilingual/cultural pay, shall receive a 5% differential of their base pay for each pay period they supervise such workers.

  • To be eligible to receive an Employee Retention Incentive, an employee must be a high performing employee, an employee with a specialty skill, and/or an employee in a position designated by the County to be difficult-to-retain, and who has been offered, and is considering employment outside of the County.

  • Employees on a leave of absence, whether paid or unpaid, are eligible for Retention Incentive pay upon return to work provided they meet the all of the requirements described above.


More Definitions of Retention Incentive

Retention Incentive means Retention Incentive prescribed in subclause (5) of this Appendix.
Retention Incentive means that portion of a Participant’s award under the Bank’s VIP, if any, that is subject to forfeiture under the terms of the VIP or, as applicable, the portion of a Temporary Incentive Plan (or annual incentive plan) award subject to forfeiture under the terms of the TIP or other applicable incentive plan.
Retention Incentive means a cash award as described in Section 2 hereof.

  • Retention Bonus means the amount equal to:

  • Long-Term Incentive Award means an Award described in Section 6(g) hereof that is based upon a period in excess of one year.

  • Incentive Bonus means a bonus opportunity awarded under Section 9 pursuant to which a Participant may become entitled to receive an amount based on satisfaction of such performance criteria as are specified in the Award Agreement.

  • Annual Incentive Award means an Award made subject to attainment of performance goals (as described in Section 14) over a performance period of up to one year (the Company’s fiscal year, unless otherwise specified by the Committee).

  • Average Incentive Compensation means the average of the annual incentive compensation under Subparagraph 3(a) received by Executive for the three (3) immediately preceding fiscal years or such fewer number of complete fiscal years as Executive may have been employed by the Company. In no event shall “Average Incentive Compensation” include any sign-on bonus, retention bonus or any other special bonus. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Executive breaches any of the provisions contained in Paragraphs 4 and 5 of this Agreement, all payments of the Severance Amount shall immediately cease. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event Executive terminates his employment for Good Reason as provided in Subparagraph 6(e), he shall be entitled to the Severance Amount only if he provides the Notice of Termination provided for in Subparagraph 6(f) within thirty (30) days after the occurrence of the event or events which constitute such Good Reason as specified in clauses (A), (B), (C), (D), (E) and (F) of Subparagraph 6(e);

  • Severance Compensation means the compensation set forth in (i), (ii), and (iv) above.

  • Incentive Pay means an annual amount equal to the aggregate annual bonus, in addition to Base Pay, made or to be made in regard to services rendered in any calendar year or performance period pursuant to any bonus plan of the Company.

  • Severance Pay means any amount that is payable in cash and is identified by a Participating Company as severance pay, or any amount which is payable on account of periods beginning after the last date on which an employee (or former employee) is required to report for work for a Participating Company.

  • Clawback Eligible Incentive Compensation means all Incentive-based Compensation Received by an Executive Officer (i) on or after the effective date of the applicable Nasdaq rules, (ii) after beginning service as an Executive Officer, (iii) who served as an Executive Officer at any time during the applicable performance period relating to any Incentive-based Compensation (whether or not such Executive Officer is serving at the time the Erroneously Awarded Compensation is required to be repaid to the Company), (iv) while the Company has a class of securities listed on a national securities exchange or a national securities association, and (v) during the applicable Clawback Period (as defined below).

  • Annual Incentive Plan means the Cinergy Corp. Annual Incentive Plan or any similar plan or successor to the Annual Incentive Plan.

  • Performance Bonus means the performance bonus in respect of each Class payable to the General Partner by the Partnership which will be equal to 20% of the product of: (a) the number of Units of that Class outstanding on the Performance Bonus Date; and (b) the amount by which the Net Asset Value per Unit of that Class on the Performance Bonus Date (prior to giving effect to the Performance Bonus) plus the aggregate value of all distributions per Unit of that Class during the Performance Bonus Term exceeds $25.00.

  • Termination Compensation means a monthly cash amount equal to one-twelfth ( 1/12th) of the highest amount of the annual cash compensation (including cash bonuses and other cash-based compensation, including for these purposes amounts earned or payable whether or not deferred) received by Executive during any one of the three (3) calendar years immediately preceding the calendar year in which Executive’s Termination Date occurs; provided, that if the cash compensation received by Executive during the Termination Year exceeds the highest amount of the annual cash compensation received by Executive during any one of the immediately preceding three (3) consecutive calendar years, the cash compensation received by Executive during the Termination Year shall be deemed to be Executive’s highest amount of annual cash compensation. In no event shall Executive’s Termination Compensation include equity-based compensation (e.g., income realized as a result of Executive’s exercise of non-qualified stock options or other stock based benefits).

  • Bonus Compensation shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(b).

  • Incentive Award means the right to receive a cash payment to the extent Performance Goals are achieved, and shall include “Annual Incentive Awards” as described in Section 10 and “Long-Term Incentive Awards” as described in Section 11.

  • Other Incentive Award means an Award denominated in, linked to or derived from Shares or value metrics related to Shares, granted pursuant to Section 9.6 hereof.

  • Incentive Payment means the payment to a STGU, including an AOBC Generation Unit, for RPS class I Renewable Generation Attributes and/or Environmental Attributes produced by these units, calculated pursuant to Section 7.0 below.

  • Severance Payment means any amount paid by a board to or in behalf of a superintendent on early termination of the superinten- dent’s contract that exceeds the amount earned by the superinten- dent under the contract as of the date of termination, including any amount that exceeds the amount of earned standard salary and benefits that is paid as a condition of early termination of the con- tract. Payments to a former superintendent who remains employed by a district in another capacity or contracts with a district to pro- vide the district services may be severance payments in whole or in part if the payments are compensation for the early termination of a prior employment agreement. Severance payments include any payment for actual or threatened litigation involving or related to the employment contract. Education Code 11.201(c); 19 TAC 105.1021(a)(1)

  • Incentive Compensation means any compensation that is granted, earned or vested based wholly or in part upon the attainment of a Financial Reporting Measure.

  • Earned Compensation means any Annual Base Salary earned, but unpaid, for services rendered to the Company on or prior to the date on which the Employment Period ends pursuant to Section 3(a) (but excluding any salary and interest accrued thereon payment of which has been deferred).

  • Severance Payments shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.1 hereof.

  • Performance Compensation Award means any Award designated by the Committee as a Performance Compensation Award pursuant to Section 11 of the Plan.

  • Long-Term Incentive Plan or “LTIP” means a plan providing compensation intended to motivate performance over a period greater than one financial year. LTIPs do not include option or SAR plans or plans for compensation through shares or units that are subject to restrictions on resale;

  • Company Incentive Plan shall have the meaning assigned to it in Section 1.7 hereof.

  • Incentive Compensation Plan means any plan, agreement or other arrangement that provides for the grant or issuance of equity or equity-based awards and that is now in effect or is hereafter adopted by the Company or the Manager for the benefit of any of their respective employees or other service providers (including directors, advisers and consultants), or the employees or other services providers (including directors, advisers and consultants) of any of their respective Affiliates or Subsidiaries.

  • incentive plan award means compensation awarded, earned, paid, or payable under an incentive plan;

  • Severance Benefit means the payment of severance compensation as provided in Article III.
