Reviewing Authorities definition

Reviewing Authorities means the Alberta Securities Commission and the Ontario Securities Commission.
Reviewing Authorities means any government official designated by the city council for the purpose of reviewing applications for permit to conduct a public event and making comments including recommendations thereon. Among other officials, "reviewing authorities" include the Lebanon City Manager, chief of police, community development manager, general manager of utility services, building official, and the Chief of the Lebanon Fire District.
Reviewing Authorities means the British Columbia Securities Commission as the principal regulator and the Ontario Securities Commission as the non-principal regulator;

Examples of Reviewing Authorities in a sentence

  • The Reviewing Authorities shall document any investigation or other action carried out under this policy, including the rationale for any recommended resolution and/or corrective action.

  • Generally, the composition of the Reviewing Authorities shall be determined in light of the nature of the reported Covered Conduct and the individuals involved.

  • If the identity of the person making the report is known, the Reviewing Authorities may inform him or her of the resolution, if the Reviewing Authorities determine that it is appropriate.

  • The Reviewing Authorities shall undertake or cause to be undertaken such investigation as they deem appropriate, taking into consideration all relevant facts and circumstances.

  • There should be no hesitation on the part of Reporting & Reviewing Authorities to record adverse remarks in justified cases.

  • Note : The Reporting / Reviewing Authorities shall adhere to the prescribed dates of submission of the reports to the next authority as per the PMS calendar, failing which adverse note may be made thereof by the HR Deptt.

Reviewing Authorities has the meaning ascribed thereto in the fifth paragraph of this Agreement;
Reviewing Authorities means any government official designated by the Board for the purpose of reviewing applications for a permit or registration to conduct an outdoor assembly and making comments including recom- mendations thereon. “Reviewing authorities” include the Director, the Health Administrator or designee, the Sheriff, the Roadmaster, the chief of the fire district in which the event is to be held, and the provider of emergency services, including but not limited to ambulance services, serving the area in which the event is to be held.

  • Taxing Authorities means Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, Her Majesty the Queen in right of any province or territory of Canada, any municipality of Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency, the Canada Border Services Agency, any similar revenue or taxing authority of Canada and each and every province or territory of Canada (including Revenu Québec) and any political subdivision thereof and any Canadian or foreign government, regulatory authority, government department, agency, commission, bureau, minister, court, tribunal or body or regulation making entity exercising taxing authority or power, and “Taxing Authority” means any one of the Taxing Authorities;

  • Nevada Gaming Authorities means, collectively, the Nevada Gaming Commission, the Nevada State Gaming Control Board, and the Xxxxx County Liquor and Gaming Licensing Board.
