Salary Continuance definition

Salary Continuance means payments made to an Employee pursuant to Section 2.1 below.
Salary Continuance means the remuneration paid by the City to a Member during the period in which the Member is Disabled.
Salary Continuance means the remuneration paid to a Member during a period in which the Member is Disabled and is in receipt of benefits from a plan to which an Employer has contributed.

  • The Salary Continuance Benefit is an amount equal to 2.0 times the Executive’s Final Compensation.

  • The Salary Continuance Benefit is an amount equal to 2.99 times the Executive’s Final Compensation.

  • The Executive shall be entitled to continued credit for years of service under the defined benefit plan of the Company from the date of Termination through the Salary Continuance Period, and any compensation paid to the Executive pursuant to subsection 6(a) above shall be treated as salary compensation for purposes of such plan.

  • In the event that Officer resigns for Good Reason, as defined below, during the Employment Period, Officer shall be entitled to receive the Accrued Obligations, Salary Continuance Benefit, and Welfare Continuance Benefit under the terms defined in Section 6.

  • This Agreement shall be construed and interpreted so that the Salary Continuance Benefit, Welfare Continuance Benefit and other payments (including, but not limited to, payments described in Section 14 below) hereunder are paid or made available only to the extent that similar amounts are not paid or made available to the Executive under any other similar agreements, policies, plans, programs or arrangements.

  • It shall be the general policy of the District to continue pay to an employee under the Salary Continuance Plan when an employee incurs a work-related injury or illness.

  • Salary Continuance benefits continue only for the period prescribed by the medical provider and will not exceed the number of days in the salary continuance schedule.

  • For purposes of determining the number of PSUs that are vested under this Agreement, the number of full months during which the Employee has been continually employed since the Grant Date shall not include any period of Salary Continuance, unless otherwise determined by the Committee or its authorized delegate at its discretion pursuant to Section 23(a)(ii) of the Plan.

  • Benefit Continuation Period means the period beginning on the Date of Termination and ending on the last day of the month in which occurs the earlier of (i) the 24-month anniversary of the Date of Termination and (ii) the date on which you elect coverage for you and your covered dependents under substantially comparable benefit plans of a subsequent employer.

  • Termination Compensation means a monthly cash amount equal to one-twelfth ( 1/12th) of the highest amount of the annual cash compensation (including cash bonuses and other cash-based compensation, including for these purposes amounts earned or payable whether or not deferred) received by Executive during any one of the three (3) calendar years immediately preceding the calendar year in which Executive’s Termination Date occurs; provided, that if the cash compensation received by Executive during the Termination Year exceeds the highest amount of the annual cash compensation received by Executive during any one of the immediately preceding three (3) consecutive calendar years, the cash compensation received by Executive during the Termination Year shall be deemed to be Executive’s highest amount of annual cash compensation. In no event shall Executive’s Termination Compensation include equity-based compensation (e.g., income realized as a result of Executive’s exercise of non-qualified stock options or other stock based benefits).

  • lump sum payment period means the period measured in weeks of salary, for which payment has been made to facilitate the transition to retirement or to other employment as a result of the implementation of various programs to reduce the size of the Public Service. The lump sum payment period does not include the period of severance pay, which is measured in a like manner.

  • Monthly Base Salary means 1/12th of the greater of (i) Executive’s annual base salary (excluding incentive pay, premium pay, commissions, overtime, bonuses and other forms of variable compensation) as in effect on the date of a Change in Control Termination or a Covered Termination, as applicable, or (ii) in the case of a Change in Control Termination, Executive’s annual base salary (excluding incentive pay, premium pay, commissions, overtime, bonuses and other forms of variable compensation) as in effect on the date of a Change in Control.

  • Monthly salary means the portion of a member’s annual compensation which is paid to him or her per month.

  • Base Compensation means the amount equal to the sum of (i) the greater of Executive’s then-current Annual Base Salary or Executive’s Annual Base Salary as of the date one (1) day prior to the Change of Control; and (ii) the average of the Incentive Bonus paid (or payable) for the three (3) most recently completed fiscal years of the Company.

  • Termination Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 7.

  • Covered Termination means the termination of Executive’s employment by the Company without Cause or by Executive for Good Reason, and shall not include a termination due to Executive’s death or disability.

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of the first occurrence of a Change in Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the second anniversary of the occurrence of the Change in Control and (ii) the Executive’s death.

  • Date of Termination means the date of receipt of the Notice of Termination or any later date specified therein, as the case may be; provided, however, that (i) if the Executive's employment is terminated by the Company other than for Cause or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date on which the Company notifies the Executive of such termination and (ii) if the Executive's employment is terminated by reason of death or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date of death of the Executive or the Disability Effective Date, as the case may be.

  • Continuation Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.9(a).

  • Normal salary means the salary that would be paid to a participating employee if that person was not participating in a Plan and includes salary expressed as an annual rate, fortnightly rate, weekly rate, daily rate or hourly rate. It includes all allowances that are paid as an annual rate, fortnightly rate, weekly rate, daily rate or hourly rate but not overtime payments and shift work penalty rates unless they are paid as a component of an annualised rate.

  • Stipend means a teaching fellowship stipend distributed to

  • Special compensation means payment to an adult foster care facility to ensure the provision of a specialized program in addition to the basic payment for adult foster care. Special compensation does not include payment received directly from the Medicaid program for personal care services for a resident, or payment received under the supplemental security income program.

  • Accrued Professional Compensation means, at any given moment, all accrued, contingent and/or unpaid fees and expenses (including, without limitation, success fees) for legal, financial advisory, accounting and other services and reimbursement of expenses that are awardable and allowable under section 328, 330(a) or 331 of the Bankruptcy Code and were rendered before the Effective Date by any Retained Professional in the Chapter 11 Cases, or that are awardable and allowable under section 503 of the Bankruptcy Code, that have not been denied by a Final Order, all to the extent that any such fees and expenses have not been previously paid (regardless of whether a fee application has been filed for any such amount). To the extent that the Bankruptcy Court or any higher court denies or reduces by a Final Order any amount of a Retained Professional’s fees or expenses, then those reduced or denied amounts shall no longer constitute Accrued Professional Compensation.

  • Accrued Base Salary means the amount of Executive's Base Salary which is accrued but not yet paid as of the Date of Termination.

  • Benefit Commencement Date means, for any Participant or beneficiary, the date as of which the first benefit payment, including a single sum, from the Participant’s Account is due, other than pursuant to a withdrawal under Article VIII.

  • Basic Compensation means Salary and Benefits.

  • Annual Salary means the salary given under this Part.

  • Benefit Period means the period of time from the date of the Accident causing the Injury for which benefits are payable, as shown in the Schedule of Benefits, and the date after which no further benefits will be paid.
