Scheduled Tribe definition

Scheduled Tribe means such tribes or tribal communities or parts of groups within tribes or tribal communities as are deemed under Article 342 of the Constitution of India to be Scheduled Tribes in the State;

Scheduled Tribe means the Scheduled Tribe specified in relation to this State under Article 342 of the Constitution of India.

• Special provisions for micro and small enterprises owned by SC or ST: Out of 20 per cent allowed for procurement from Micro and Small Enterprises, a sub-target of 20 per cent (i.e., 4 per cent out of 20 per cent) shall be allowed for procurement from Micro and Small Enterprises owned by the Scheduled Caste or the Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs.
