Security Intermediary definition

Security Intermediary means (a) a clearing corporation or (b) a Person, including a bank or broker, that in the ordinary course of its business maintains securities accounts for others and is acting in that capacity.
Security Intermediary means Bank, a Securities Depository and any other financial institution which in the ordinary course of business maintains Securities custody accounts for others and acts in that capacity.

More Definitions of Security Intermediary

Security Intermediary shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8-102(a)(14) of the UCC.
Security Intermediary means The First National Bank of Chicago, as Securities Intermediary under the Pledge Agreement until a successor Securities Intermediary shall have become such pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Pledge Agreement, and thereafter "Securities Intermediary" shall mean such successor.
