Biological Material means any material containing genetic information and capable of reproducing itself or being reproduced in a biological system;
Goods/Materials means any of the articles, materials, machinery, equipments, supplies, drawing, data and other property and all services including but not limited to design, delivery, installation, inspection, testing and commissioning specified or required to complete the order.
Proprietary product means a manufactured component or other product that is produced by a private person. It may be protected by patent, trademark or copyright.

Technology means all Software, content, websites, technical data, subroutines, tools, materials, invention disclosures, improvements, apparatus, creations, works of authorship and other similar materials, and all recordings, graphs, drawings, reports, analyses, documentation, user manuals and other writings, and other tangible embodiments of the foregoing, in any form whether or not specifically listed herein.
Technical Information means technical data or computer software, as those terms are defined in the clause at DFARS 252.227-7013, Rights in Technical Data-Non Commercial Items, regardless of whether or not the clause is incorporated in this solicitation or contract. Manufacturing Know-How means all information, techniques, inventions, discoveries, improvements, practices, methods, knowledge, skill, experience and other technology, whether or not patentable or copyrightable, and any copyrights based thereon, relating to or necessary or useful for the production, purification, packaging, storage and transportation of Collaboration Products, including without limitation specifications, acceptance criteria, manufacturing batch records, standard operating procedures, engineering plans, installation, operation and process qualification protocols for equipment, validation records, master files submitted to the FDA, process validation reports, environmental monitoring processes, test data including pharmacological, toxicological and clinical test data, cost data and employee training materials.
Cover material means soil placed over a soil dispersal component composed predominately of mineral material with no greater than ten percent organic content. Cover material may contain an organic surface layer for establishing a vegetative landscape to reduce soil erosion.

Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, know-how, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith that are owned or controlled by Licensor, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno-associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.
Postconsumer material means a material or finished product that has served its intended use and has been discarded for disposal or recovery, having completed its life as a consumer item. Postconsumer material is a part of the broader category of “recovered material.”
Manufacturing Materials means parts, tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, plans, drawings, and information produced or acquired, or rights acquired, specifically to fulfill obligations set forth herein.
