Separate Contractors definition

Separate Contractors means other contractors retained by the Owner under separate agreements. The Owner reserves the right to perform construction or operations related to the Project with the Owner’s own forces, and with Separate Contractors retained under Conditions of the Contract substantially similar to those of this Contract, including those provisions of the Conditions of the Contract related to insurance and waiver of subrogation.
Separate Contractors means persons other than the Contractor including the Principal's employees who are engaged by the Principal to carry out work on the Site not included in the Contract concurrently with the carrying out of the Works.
Separate Contractors means those individuals or entities (including, but not limited to, concessionaires) who have entered into arrangements with the Owner for the provision of labor, materials or other services in connection with the Project.

Examples of Separate Contractors in a sentence

  • Design-Builder shall meet and consult with County from time to time at County's request to insure that Design-Builder and County are fully advised of all other construction activities on the Project Site, and Design-Builder shall take such steps as are reasonably necessary at County's request to coordinate its Work with the Work of County's Separate Contractors on the Project Site.

  • The Design-Builder shall participate with other Separate Contractors and the County in reviewing their construction schedules when directed to do so.

Separate Contractors includes subconsultants, contractors and vendors procured directly by the Owner to perform work or services on the Project.
