Service Expenditure definition

Service Expenditure means such expenditure as is provided for in Part 7 of the Schedule;
Service Expenditure means the reasonable and properly incurred expenditure referred to in Part 7 of the Schedule under deduction of any costs, which would otherwise form part of the Service Expenditure, relating to the making good of any damage or destruction arising from an Insured Risk then covered under any policy or policies of insurance arranged in terms of these presents, save to the extent that (1) such costs fall within the excess provision under the relevant policy of insurance or (2) the insurance monies are irrecoverable as a result of any act, neglect, default or omission on the part of the Tenant, or the Tenant’s sub-tenants, employees, agents or others for whom the Tenant is responsible in law;

Examples of Service Expenditure in a sentence

  • This is a change from the previous requirement to present expenditure and income in accordance with the Service Expenditure Code of Practice (SERCOP).

  • Table 1 below provides an overview of the Council's outturn position within each Service Expenditure area.

More Definitions of Service Expenditure

Service Expenditure means the reasonable and properly incurred expenditure referred to in Part 7 of the Schedule under deduction of any costs, which would otherwise form part of the Service Expenditure, relating to the making good of any damage or destruction arising from an Insured Risk then covered under any policy or policies of insurance arranged in terms of these presents, save to the extent that (1) such costs fall within the excess provision under the relevant policy of insurance, (providing that such costs are normal for such a commercial policy of insurance as provided for in Sub-Clause 6.2 hereof) or (2) the insurance monies are irrecoverable as a result of any act, neglect, default or omission on the part of the Tenant, or the Tenant’s sub- tenants, employees, agents or others for whom the Tenant is responsible in law;
Service Expenditure means the expenditure properly and reasonably incurred by the Landlords acting in accordance with the Principles of Good Estate Management in and about the provision of the services specified in Parts IX and X of this Schedule (subject to the exclusions contained in Clause 16 of Part IX of the Schedule and Clause 17 of Part X of the Schedule); and
Service Expenditure all expenditure reasonably and properly incurred by the Landlord in providing all or any of the Services including the reasonable cost of employing managing agents and caretakers but excluding any expenditure on any part of the Building for which the Tenant or any other tenant shall be responsible or on any part of the Building which was designed or intended to be let but which is unlet from time to time during the Term
Service Expenditure. (Car Park)" means in relation to any Year the whole costs, charges, liabilities and other expenditure properly incurred by the Landlord in or about the provision of the Services or otherwise in the performance of the obligations undertaken by the Landlord in Part 4 of the Schedule so far as relating to that part of the Car Park shown outlined in red and hatched black on the Site Plan (for as long as and to the extent that the same is used for private car parking); DECLARING THAT the Service Expenditure (Car Park) shall exclude to the intent that such excluded items of expenditure shall be the personal responsibility of the Landlord in questions with the Tenant, any expenditure or liability or other sum which, but for this proviso to this Part of the Schedule would fall within the definition of Service Expenditure (Car Park), but which:-
Service Expenditure means the whole costs and expenses properly and reasonably incurred by the Landlords during any Service Charge Year in respect of any and/or all of the following:-

  • Operating Expenditures means all Partnership Group cash expenditures (or the Partnership’s proportionate share of expenditures in the case of Subsidiaries that are not wholly owned), including taxes, compensation of employees, officers and directors of the General Partner, reimbursement of expenses of the General Partner and its Affiliates, debt service payments, Maintenance Capital Expenditures, repayment of Working Capital Borrowings and payments made in the ordinary course of business under any Hedge Contracts, subject to the following:

  • Recurrent Expenditure means any expenditure on the establishment, conduct, administration and maintenance of the Academy which does not fall within the categories of capital expenditure set out at clause 36. The Secretary of State shall pay two separate and distinct grants in respect of Recurrent Expenditure: General Annual Grant (“GAG”) and Earmarked Annual Grant (“EAG”). Capital Grant

  • Independent expenditure means an expenditure by a person:

  • Capital Expenditure Budget shall constitute an estimate for the applicable period of the capital expenditures required to (i) accomplish capital enhancement projects included in the most recently approved Strategic Plan, (ii) maintain and preserve the Partnership's assets in good operating condition and repair and (iii) achieve or maintain compliance with any HSE Law.

  • Expenditures means payments and contracts for goods, services, and construction which may be acquired competitively and are not regulated by separate authority, and, where the department acts as the sole or primary contracting officer and has selective discretion as to the supplier, vendor, or contractor. This definition does not apply to expenditures by the department of transportation for road and bridge construction projects which receive federal funds under section 112(b) of title 23 of the United States Code, 23 U.S.C. 112, 23 C.F.R. 635.104(a), and other applicable federal law until federal law recognizes small businesses owned by persons with disabilities.

  • Maintenance Capital Expenditures means, for any period, the portion of the aggregate amount of all Capital Expenditures of the Borrower for such period attributable to maintenance of property, plant or equipment of the Borrower and the Restricted Subsidiaries, as determined in good faith by a Responsible Officer of the Borrower.

  • Approved Operating Expenses means Operating Expenses incurred by Borrower or by any Manager on Borrower’s behalf (excluding any Restricted Payments) which (i) are included in the Approved Annual Budget for the current calendar month, (ii) are for real estate taxes, insurance premiums, electric, gas, oil, water, sewer or other utility service to the Properties, (iii) are for Management Fees, or (iv) have been approved in writing by Lender as Approved Operating Expenses; provided, however, that Approved Operating Expenses shall also include, for any calendar month in which Operating Expenses exceed the Monthly Operating Expense Budgeted Amount, the amount of such excess Operating Expenses up to and not to exceed ten percent (10%) of the Monthly Operating Expense Budgeted Amount for such calendar month as to which Borrower provides to Lender a reasonably detailed explanation of the reasons for and expenditures resulting in Operating Expenses exceeding the Monthly Operating Expense Amount.

  • Operating Expense means salaries, wages, cost of maintenance and operation, materials, supplies, insurance and all other items normally included under recognized accounting practices, but does not include allowances for depreciation in the value of physical property.

  • Expenditure means the outlay of cash or the amount due and owing after receipt of goods or services included in the Scope of Work.

  • local expenditures means expenditures in the currency of the Borrower or for goods or services supplied from the territory of the Borrower; and

  • Emergency Expenditure means any of the Eligible Expenditures set forth in the CERC Operations Manual in accordance with the provisions of Section I.G of Schedule 2 to this Agreement and required for the activities included in the CERC Part of the Project.

  • Ineligible Expenditures means the costs that are ineligible for payment under the terms and conditions of the Agreement, and that are described in Schedule “E” (Eligible Expenditures and Ineligible Expenditures).

  • Annual Operating Expenses for the Class means and will consist only of the following operating expenses of the Series for the Class that are, under generally accepted accounting principles, accruable and deductible from the Series’ assets with respect to the Class for the calendar year involved: (i) investment advisory fees, if any; (ii) Rule 12b-1 distribution fees, if any; and (iii) custodian fees, shareholder servicing fees, administrative and office facilities expenses, professional fees, trustees’ fees and any other operating expenses of the Series with respect to the Class that are recorded or includable in the Series’ statement of operations in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Notwithstanding the provisions of the immediately preceding sentence, the Series’ “Annual Operating Expenses” for the Class do not include interest and dividends on securities sold short, amortization of organization expenses, taxes, brokerage commissions, litigation and indemnification expenses or any costs or expenses of or for the Series with respect to the Class that are “extraordinary” as determined under generally accepted accounting principles (see Accounting Principles Board Opinion No. 30).   • Capitalized Software Expenditures means, for any period, the aggregate of all expenditures (whether paid in cash or accrued as liabilities) by a Person and its Restricted Subsidiaries during such period in respect of licensed or purchased software or internally developed software and software enhancements that, in conformity with GAAP, are or are required to be reflected as capitalized costs on the consolidated balance sheet of a Person and its Restricted Subsidiaries.

  • Capital Expenditures means, with respect to any Person for any period, the aggregate amount of all expenditures (whether paid in cash or accrued as a liability) by such Person during that period for the acquisition or leasing (pursuant to a Capital Lease) of fixed or capital assets or additions to property, plant, or equipment (including replacements, capitalized repairs, and improvements) which should be capitalized on the balance sheet of such Person in accordance with GAAP.
