Sheet Metal Industry definition

Sheet Metal Industry means any and all types of work within the trade jurisdiction of the Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, Sheet Metal Division (“SM”), as described in its Constitution or an amendment thereto; or any other work to which a worker has been assigned, referred, or can perform because of skills and training as a sheet metal worker.‌
Sheet Metal Industry means all work or services of the kind performed by any Contributing Employer to the Sheet Metal Workers’ Pension Plan of Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada, which relates in any way to any work performed by employees covered by the Pension Plan. For example, in addition to manufacturing, fabrication, service, design and installation of products or goods by Contributing Employers, the Sheet Metal Industry includes, but is not limited to, the following functions:
Sheet Metal Industry means the claimed jurisdiction in the Jurisdiction Section of the Constitution of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association.

  • The Committee shall be empowered to take up such matters as they deem necessary to carry out the intent of both parties to this Agreement, including the protection of the jurisdictional awards of the Sheet Metal Industry.

  • One time per year, the Metropolitan Chicagoland Sheet Metal Industry Fund shall include in such written re- port a financial statement attested to by a certified pub- lic accountant containing its balance sheet and detailed statement of annual receipts and disbursements.

  • The Metropolitan Chi- cagoland Sheet Metal Industry Fund shall submit to the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association, Local No. 73, not less often then semiannually written reports describing accurately and in reasonable detail the nature of activities in which it is engaged or which it supports directly or indirectly with any of its funds.

  • Fur- ther specific detailed information in regard to the Met- ropolitan Chicagoland Sheet Metal Industry Fund activities or its receipts and/or expenditures shall be fur- nished to the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation (SMART), Local No. 73 upon written request.

  • Both parties of this Agreement hereby agree to establish a Joint adjustment Board to the end of strengthening and protecting the Sheet Metal Industry.
