Shift 3 definition

Shift 3 means a work shift that occurs primarily during the nighttime hours including, but not limited to, an 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. shift.

Examples of Shift 3 in a sentence

  • Note - Shift 3 differential does not apply to any day shifts starting after 4a.

  • For the purposes of this Section, the night shift of the calendar day preceding the actual date of the regular holiday shall be considered Shift #1, the day shift of the regular holiday shall be Shift #2 and the p.m. shift of the regular holiday shall be Shift #3.

  • Shift 3 differential is $4.00 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate.

  • Three Shift Operation- When the plant or any part of it is oper- ated on a three shift basis the regular hours of work in any area affected shall be: Shift 1 – 6:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Shift 2 – 2:50 p.m. to 10:50 p.m. Shift 3 – 10:50 p.m. to 6:50 a.m. With a paid lunch period of twenty minutes during each shift.

  • Shift 3 differential is five dollars ($5.00) per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate for pharmacists and two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate for pharmacy technicians.

  • Shift 3 differential applies when the majority of a staff member’s hours worked falls between 11 pm and 7:30 am; in which case the differential will be paid for the entire shift.

  • For staff who start their shift at noon or later, the following Shift 2 and Shift 3 differential pay applies: Shift 2 differential applies when the majority of a staff member’s hours worked falls between 3 pm and 11 pm; in which case the differential will be paid for the entire shift.

  • Shift 3 differential is $1.75 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate.

  • Any hours worked in the Shift 3 zone (11p-7a) shall receive Shift 3 differential of $4.00 per hour in addition to the regular hourly rate, however, if the majority of the hours worked are in the Shift 3 zone, Shift 3 differential will apply to their entire shift.

Related to Shift 3

  • Shift Cycle means the period of time when the shift schedule repeats itself. In those instances where the schedule does not repeat itself, the term "Shift Cycle" shall be understood to mean a period of time not exceeding twelve (12) weeks.

  • Shift means a daily tour of duty exclusive of overtime hours.

  • Shift Schedule means a written statement setting forth the days and hours upon which the employees are required to work.

  • Service Switching Point (SSP) is a telephone central office switch equipped with a Signaling System 7 (SS7) interface.

  • Scheduled Downtime has the meaning set forth in Section 5.2.

  • Yearly (1/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done in the month of September, unless specifically identified otherwise in the effluent limitations and monitoring requirements table.

  • Downtime means the Total Minutes in the Month during which the Cloud Service (or Servers for Server Provisioning) does not respond to a request from SAP’s Point of Demarcation for the data center providing the Cloud Service (or Server for Server Provisioning), excluding Excluded Downtime.

  • Service Switching Point (SSP means the telephone Central Office Switch equipped with a Signaling System 7 (SS7) interface.

  • Switch means a switching device employed by a Carrier within the Public Switched Network. Switch includes but is not limited to End Office Switches, Tandem Switches, Access Tandem Switches, Remote Switching Modules, and Packet Switches. Switches may be employed as a combination of End Office/Tandem Switches. "Switched Access Service" means the offering of transmission and switching services to Interexchange Carriers for the purpose of the origination or termination of telephone toll service. Switched Access Services include: Feature Group A, Feature Group B, Feature Group D, 8XX access, and 900 access and their successors or similar Switched Access Services. "Switched Access Traffic" is traffic that originates at one of the Party's End User Customers and terminates at an IXC Point of Presence, or originates at an IXC Point of Presence and terminates at one of the Party's End User Customers, whether or not the traffic transits the other Party's network.

  • Semi-annual (2/Year) sampling frequency means the sampling shall be done during the months of June and December, unless specifically identified otherwise.

  • Network Termination Point (NTP) means the physical point at which a subscriber is provided with access to a public communications network; in the case of networks involving switching or routing, the NTP is identified by means of a specific network address, which may be linked to a subscriber number or name;
