Short Term Casual definition

Short Term Casual means a Casual Employee who is not a long term Casual Employee and is generally engaged for a period of less then 12 months or not employed on a regular or systematic basis.
Short Term Casual means an employee who is engaged intermittently for work of an unexpected nature with no guarantees of any future work.
Short Term Casual means a person employed by the Employer for a fixed period of greater than twenty (20) consecutive workings days but not exceeding four (4) months, without a break in continuous service of ten (10) or more consecutive working days.

  • Short-term suspension means any disciplinary action whereby a student is not permitted to attend school for a period not to exceed ten school days.

  • Long-term contract means a contract with a duration period exceeding one year;

  • Short-Term U.S. Government Securities means U.S. Government Securities maturing within one year of the applicable date of determination.
