SKA Virtual Centre definition

SKA Virtual Centre means the geographical point located at geographical co-ordinates 30.71292 degrees south and 21.44380 degrees East that relates to the SKA array of radio astronomy stations within the Karoo Astronomy Advantage Areas and is specified as the centre Assessment Point for the application of the protection levels as defined in the Radio Astronomy Protection Levels Regulations.

  • One (1) year from the date that these regulations come into operation, no licensee or licence exempt operator or any person may use any radio station or any radio apparatus or any appliance within the Karoo Central Astronomy Advantage Areas that causes radio frequency interference at the SKA Virtual Centre, or saturation level radio frequency interference within the protection corridors in the Karoo Central Astronomy Advantage Areas described in Annexure A, or within 20 km of the SKA Virtual Centre.

  • Virtual Card means a non-physical Card, the use of which is limited to online, phone or mail order purchases and which cannot be used to make a cash withdrawal from an ATM or bank. Any reference to cash withdrawals or to a Physical Card in this Agreement excludes the Virtual Card.

  • Principal Financial Centre means, in relation to any currency, the principal financial centre for that currency provided, however, that:

  • Relevant Financial Centre means, with respect to any Floating Rate to be determined in accordance with a Screen Rate Determination on an Interest Determination Date, the financial centre as may be specified as such in the relevant Final Terms or, if none is so specified, the financial centre with which the relevant Benchmark is most closely connected (which, in the case of EURIBOR or EONIA, shall be the Euro-zone and in the case of LIBOR, shall be London) or, if none is so connected, Paris.

  • Study Centre means a centre established and maintained or recognized by the University for the purpose of advising, counselling or for rendering any other assistance required by the students in the context of distance education;

  • Shopping Centre means a grouping of commercial retail outlets which have been designed, developed and managed as a unit by a single owner or group of owners or tenants located on the same lot or lots with a frontage not less than 45 metres and having common on-site parking;

  • Harbour Master means the ABP Harbour Master or Dock Master for the Port (as appropriate) or their authorised representative;

  • Principal Financial Center means, in the case of any Currency, the principal financial center where such Currency is cleared and settled, as determined by the Administrative Agent.

  • Birth center means a facility or institution, which is not an ambulatory surgical center or a hospital or in a hospital, in which births are planned to occur following a normal, uncomplicated, low-risk pregnancy.

  • Youth center means any public or private facility that is primarily used to host recreational or social activities for minors, including, but not limited to, private youth membership organizations or clubs, social service teenage club facilities, video arcades, or similar amusement park facilities.

  • Tributary means a stream flowing into a larger body of water.

  • Uppermost aquifer means the geologic formation nearest the natural ground surface that is an aquifer, as well as lower aquifers that are hydraulically interconnected with this aquifer within the facility's property boundary.

  • Centre means the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes Established by the ICSID Convention; and

  • industrial effluent means any liquid, whether or not containing matter in solution or suspension, which is emitted in the course of or as a result of any trade or industrial operation, including a mining operation, and includes any liquid besides soil water or waste water or stormwater;

  • Additional Financial Centre(s means the city or cities specified as such in the relevant Final Terms;

  • harbour means the port or harbour at or near Port Hedland or such other port or place mutually agreed on and serving the Company’s wharf;

  • The Centre means the Financial Intelligence Centre established in terms of section 2 of the FIC Act.

  • Natural area means an area of the rural or non-urban environment which is in an unspoilt natural state or is of high scenic value, and includes, but is not limited to, national parks, game reserves, nature reserves, marine reserves, wilderness areas, areas of extensive agriculture and scenic areas;

  • LOT FRONTAGE means lot frontage as defined in Town's Zoning By-law No. 1136 (1987), as amended, or any successor thereto.

  • Ambulatory surgical center means any public or private State licensed and approved (whenever required by law) establishment with an organized medical staff of Physicians, with permanent facilities that are equipped and operated primarily for the purpose of performing Surgical Procedures, with continuous Physician services and registered professional nursing service whenever a patient is in the facility, and which does not provide service or other accommodations for patients to stay overnight.
