Sponsor Official definition

Sponsor Official means each person who is a director, officer, employee, managing director or other affiliate (or any combination of the foregoing) of any Sponsor or one or more Sponsor Controlled Affiliates.

For the purpose of this definition, complex and high-quality trade skills and experience will be deemed to be acquired by the tradesperson:

  • foreign public official means any person holding a legislative, executive, administrative or judicial office of a foreign country, whether appointed or elected; and any person exercising a public function for a foreign country, including for a public agency or public enterprise;

For purposes of the benefits provided under this Plan, an Alternate Recipient shall be treated as an eligible Dependent, but for purposes of the reporting and disclosure requirements under ERISA, an Alternate Recipient shall have the same status as a Participant.
