Stacking Limit definition

Stacking Limit means the limit imposed by Alberta Innovates on the total, cumulative government funding for the Project, as described in Section 3.8 of the main body of this Investment Agreement.
Stacking Limit has the meaning set out in Section 2.5;
Stacking Limit has the meaning set out in Section 2.f) of the Collaboration Agreement.

Examples of Stacking Limit in a sentence

  • If the Applicant is subject to the Stacking Limit in Section 3.3, and if the Applicant exceeds such Stacking Limit at any time during the Term, Alberta Innovates may Elect to require the Applicant to repay any portions of the Investment paid in excess of the Stacking Limit.

  • If the Program Guide, Schedule A or Schedule B contains any government funding stacking limitation or restriction applicable to the Project ("Stacking Limit"), then the Applicant shall comply with such Stacking Limit.

  • For the purposes of monitoring the Stacking Limit, the Alberta Applicant has an ongoing obligation to disclose all sources of governmental financial assistance mentioned in 3.8 above throughout the Term of this Investment Agreement and to that end the Alberta Applicant agrees to disclose to Alberta Innovates any governmental assistance received subsequent to making its disclosure in the Application.

  • At times where the total government assistance to the Alberta Applicant exceeds the Stacking Limit, Alberta Innovates reserves the right to unilaterally and without notice reduce its investment such that the Stacking Limit is not exceeded.

  • For simplified and guaranteed issue policies to be reinsured under automatic reinsurance, the total amount of insurance, for simplified and guaranteed issue policies, in force and applied for, in all companies shall not exceed the Stacking Limit as shown in Schedule A.

  • At times where the total government assistance to the Applicant exceeds the Stacking Limit, Alberta Innovates reserves the right to unilaterally and without notice reduce its Investment so that the applicable Stacking Limit is not exceeded.

  • Double check valve assembly means an assembly composed of two single, independently acting, check valves including tightly closing shutoff valves located at each end of the assembly and suitable connections for testing the water tightness of each check valve.

  • Rear Yard means a yard extending across the full width of a parcel measured perpendicularly from the rear wall(s) of the main building situated on the parcel to the rear property boundary of the parcel [see sketch in Schedule B];

  • Plan Limit means the maximum aggregate number of Shares that may be issued for all purposes under the Plan as set forth in Section 5(a) of the Plan.

  • Short-rotation coppice means a specific management regime whereby the poles of trees are cut every one to two years and which is aimed at producing biomass for energy. It is exempt from the UK government timber procurement policy requirements and falls under agricultural regulation and supervision rather than forestry. The exemption only refers to short-rotation coppice, and not 'conventional' coppice which is forest management and therefore subject to the timber policy.

  • Variable-aperture beam-limiting device means a beam-limiting device which has capacity for stepless adjustment of the x-ray field size at a given SID.

  • High Quality Short-Term Debt Instruments means any instrument that has a maturity at issuance of less that 366 days and that is rated in one of the two highest rating categories by a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization.

  • High Quality Short-Term Debt Instrument means any instrument having a maturity at issuance of less than 366 days and which is rated in one of the highest two rating categories by a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Agency (Moody’s and S&P).

  • Prescribed Limit means ten per cent (10%) of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company as at the date of passing of this resolution unless the Company has effected a reduction of the share capital of the Company in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Law, at any time during the Relevant Period, in which event the issued ordinary share capital of the Company shall be taken to be the amount of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company as altered (excluding any treasury share that may be held by the Company from time to time); and

  • Maximum design heat input means the ability of a unit to combust a stated maximum amount of fuel per hour on a steady state basis, as determined by the physical design and physical characteristics of the unit.

  • Maximum Term Loan Amount means Forty Million and No/100 Dollars ($40,000,000).

  • mg/l means milligrams per liter.

  • Uppermost aquifer means the geologic formation nearest the natural ground surface that is an aquifer, as well as lower aquifers that are hydraulically interconnected with this aquifer within the facility's property boundary.

  • Normal Maximum Generation means the highest output level of a generating resource under normal operating conditions.

  • Daily bag limit as used in s. NR 19.275, means the maximum number of a turtle species or group of turtle species which may be taken by a person each day.

  • Maximum Daily Limit means the maximum allowable "Daily Concentration" (defined above) when expressed as a concentration (e.g. mg/l), otherwise, it means the maximum allowable "Daily Quantity" as defined above, unless it is expressed as a flow quantity. If expressed as a flow quantity it means "Maximum Daily Flow" as defined in Section 22a-430-3(a) of the RCSA.

  • Maximum Generation Emergency Alert means an alert issued by the Office of the Interconnection to notify PJM Members, Transmission Owners, resource owners and operators, customers, and regulators that a Maximum Generation Emergency may be declared, for any Operating Day in either, as applicable, the Day-ahead Energy Market or the Real-time Energy Market, for all or any part of such Operating Day. Maximum Run Time:

  • Polystyrene foam means blown polystyrene and expanded and

  • Daily Maximum Limit means the maximum allowable discharge of a pollutant during a calendar day. Expressed as units of mass, the daily discharge is cumulative mass discharged over the course of the day. Expressed as a concentration, it is the arithmetic average of all measurements taken that day.

  • Normal Minimum Generation means the lowest output level of a generating resource under normal operating conditions.
