Stage 2 Appeal definition

Stage 2 Appeal. The Student Residences Local Discipline Committee (SRLDC). The SRLDC has the responsibility of hearing appeals to Community Standards violation sanctions issued to its residents. This process can only be used after the student has exhausted the Stage 1 appeal process to the Associate Director of Residence Life and is still dissatisfied with the outcome. However, appeals to the SRLDC will only be considered based on one or all of the following grounds:

Examples of Stage 2 Appeal in a sentence

  • If the complainant is not satisfied with the response from the Investigating Officer, or if a response is not received within the procedure’s timescales, they may request that their complaint is considered at Stage 2 (Appeal).

  • Stage 2: Appeal - internal investigation usually by Head of Service (Achieve: usually by Head of Service coordinated by Quality Manager) If the person complaining is not satisfied with the response to their complaint, they have the right to appeal within 14 days of the date of the written response.

  • Stage 2 Appeal 2.1. If following the formal review the Athlete wishes to formally appeal the decision, then a written Notice of Appeal must be submitted by them to British Canoeing Head of Governance within 5 working days (or an earlier date if that has been decided and communicated by the Head of Governance) of receiving the outcome of the formal review.

  • A Stage 2 Appeal can only be requested if a Stage 1 Appeal has been requested and the outcome received by the learner/centre.

  • Stage 2 Appeal – At the closing date for employees to file for a Stage 2 appeal, Human Resources and PEA will meet to set the timeline for Stage 2 Appeals.

  • Centres, requesting a Stage 2 Appeal, will be invoiced for the appropriate fee within 5 working days of the application being received.

  • Where the application is made by a learner, the learner must include the appropriate fee (see Appendix B) with the Stage 2 Appeal form.

  • Independent Review Panel meetings are held a maximum of 40 working days after a request for a Stage 2 Appeal has been received.

  • The Independent Review Panel will only consider whether CILEx has followed required procedures consistently and has applied them properly and fairly in arriving at judgements;• Centres must apply for a Stage 2 Appeal within 20 working days of the date of the notification of the Stage 1 Appeal outcome using the Stage 2 Appeal form.

  • Learners requesting a Stage 2 Appeal must include the appropriate fee with the form.

Related to Stage 2 Appeal

  • Expedited Appeal means if a Member appeals a decision regarding a denied request for Prior Authorization (Pre-Service Claim) for an Urgent Care Claim, the Member or Member’s Authorized Representative can request an Expedited Appeal, either orally or in writing. Decisions regarding an Expedited Appeal are generally made within seventy-two (72) hours from the Plan’s receipt of the request.

  • POC means Point of Compliance. "POE" means Point of Exposure. "PSI" means pounds per square inch.

  • Successful Completion means that in the reasonable opinion of the Customer, Deliverables completed by the Supplier are fit for purpose, completed on time and otherwise meet all the criteria defined under this Contract;

  • Final Approval Hearing means the hearing before the Court where the Parties will request the Final Judgment to be entered by the Court approving the Settlement Agreement, the Fee Award, and the incentive award to the Class Representative.

  • Final Approval Order and Judgment means an order and judgment that the Court enters after the Final Approval Hearing, which finally approves the Settlement Agreement, certifies the Settlement Class, dismisses the Action with prejudice, and otherwise satisfies the settlement-related provisions of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 23, and is consistent with all material provisions of this Agreement, substantially in the form annexed hereto as Exhibit 5.

  • Phase 2 Clinical Trial means a human clinical trial, for which the primary endpoints include a determination of dose ranges or an indication of efficacy in patients being studied as described in 21 C.F.R. §312.21(b), or an equivalent clinical trial in a country in the Territory other than the United States.

  • Phase 3 Clinical Trial means a pivotal clinical trial in humans performed to gain evidence with statistical significance of the efficacy of a product in a target population, and to obtain expanded evidence of safety for such product that is needed to evaluate the overall benefit-risk relationship of such product, to form the basis for approval of an NDA and to provide an adequate basis for physician labeling, as described in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(c) or the corresponding regulation in jurisdictions other than the United States.

  • Study Completion means the database for the Study has been locked and all Essential Documents have been provided to the Sponsor, including a copy of the letter from the Reviewing HREC acknowledging receipt of the final report and/or closure letter from the Principal Investigator.

  • Reconsideration means review by the director of an insurer’s Notice of Closure.

  • Phase IIb Clinical Trial means a clinical trial of a Product on sufficient numbers of patients that is designed to provide a preliminary determination of safety and efficacy of such Product in the target patient population over a range of doses and dose regimens.

  • Appeal Tribunal means the all-citizen Tribunal duly appointed by Council to conduct hearings under this By-law; (200-08)

  • Phase 3 means the period commencing on the day after the Phase 2 implementation date and ending on the Phase 3 implementation date (as defined below).

  • Phase III Study means a human clinical trial that is prospectively designed to demonstrate statistically whether a product is safe and effective for use in humans in a manner sufficient to obtain regulatory approval to market such product in patients having the disease or condition being studied as described in 21 C.F.R. § 312.21(c) (FDCA), as amended from time to time, and the foreign equivalent thereof.

  • Phase 1 Clinical Trial means a Clinical Trial of a Product on sufficient numbers of normal volunteers and/or patients that is designed to establish that such Product is safe for its intended use and to support its continued testing in Phase 2 Clinical Trials. For purposes of this Agreement, ‘initiation’ of a Phase 1 Clinical Trial for a Product means the first dosing of such Product in a human subject in a Phase 1 Clinical Trial.

  • Development Phase means the period before a vehicle type is type approved.

  • Phase III Clinical Study means a trial involving administration of a Compound to sufficient numbers of human patients with the goal of establishing that the Compound is safe and efficacious for its intended use, to define warnings, precautions and adverse reactions that are associated with the drug or label expansion of such Compound, and to be considered as a pivotal study for submission of an NDA.

  • Stage 2 means the construction of the second hotel and other developments facilities and amenities referred to in the Development Proposals;

  • Notice of Appeal means a notice given pursuant to Condition 6.2.

  • Phase 3 Trial means a human clinical trial of a Product on a sufficient number of subjects that is designed to establish that a pharmaceutical product is safe and efficacious for its intended use, and to determine warnings, precautions and adverse reactions that are associated with such pharmaceutical product in the dosage range to be prescribed, which trial is intended to support Approval of a Product, as described in 21 C.F.R. 312.21(c) for the United States, or a similar clinical study prescribed by the Regulatory Authorities in a foreign country.

  • Appeal Board means the State Charter School Appeal

  • Court of Appeal means the division of the Supreme Court referred to in section 7(1)(b);

  • Stage 1 means the area at Port Xxxxxxx which is the subject of this Agreement and of the ERMP and which is shown bordered in purple as “stage 1” on Department of Land Administration 4 Miscellaneous Plan No. 1743;

  • Application Review Start Date means the later date of either the date on which the District issues its written notice that the Applicant has submitted a completed Application or the date on which the Comptroller issues its written notice that the Applicant has submitted a completed Application and as further identified in Section 2.3.A of this Agreement.

  • Phase II Clinical Study means a human clinical study of a product initiated to determine the safety and efficacy in the target patient population, as described 21 C.F.R. 312.21(b).

  • Phase I Clinical Study means a human clinical study of a product, the principal purpose of which is a preliminary determination of safety in healthy individuals or patients, as described in 21 C.F.R. 312.21(a).

  • Feasibility Study means the evaluation and analysis of the potential of a project, which aims at supporting the process of decision-making by objectively and rationally uncovering its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, as well as identifying the resources required to carry it through and ultimately its prospects for success;
