It is respectful to recognize the unique and enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous People and their traditional territories.

For projects categorized as A or B in Involuntary Resettlement and/or Indigenous People, the Borrowers/clients are required to submit semiannual monitoring reports for ADB review.
Alternatively, if it has been identified that Indigenous People have a collective attachment to, and/or reside in, a specific subproject area or site (but may not be the overwhelming majority), a standalone IPP needs to be prepared at the subproject-level.
