Supported Release definition

Supported Release means a Sandvine Software version that, according to Sandvine’s end of life policy, has not reached end of life status or been made obsolete by the General Availability of a software product.
Supported Release means the current version Release of any Software and the two (2) immediately preceding version Releases of that Software, whether such Releases are Major or Minor Releases where a “Major Release” is designated by the number to the left of a decimal point (e.g. x.1) and a “Minor Release” is designated by the number to the right of a decimal point (e.g. 1.x).
Supported Release means, unless otherwise stated in the Order, the latest Release of the Solution that is generally available to OXDH’s client base.

Examples of Supported Release in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, a Maintenance Release will be made obsolete and thus not a Supported Release as of the General Availability of the next Maintenance Release and the installation of a Maintenance Release does not extend the lifetime of the related LTS Release under Sandvine’s end of life policy.

  • Provided that the End User has purchased Support and Maintenance Services for the Product for the continuous period from its acquisition of the Product through to the date of discontinuation, Sandvine will continue to make available Support and Maintenance Services in respect of: (a) discontinued Hardware, for a period of three (3) years from the date of discontinuation; and (b) a discontinued Supported Release of Software, for a period of two (2) years from the date of General Availability.

  • After the last time buy date passes and provided no new features are added to the last LTS Release compatible with the Hardware product and the Hardware product has not reached the end of life milestone date, Sandvine: (a) will make available signature updates for such Supported Release; and (b) advises the traffic classification may degrade for some applications after the last time buy date.

  • Once two (2) years passes from the General Availability of a Supported Release, the Supported Release will automatically be end of life software and, notwithstanding any Support and Maintenance Services agreements that may be in place, Sandvine’s only Support and Maintenance Services obligations on end of life Software is to provide reasonable efforts on Severity 1 – Critical system restoration issues.

  • Within a Supported Release Family, the most recent Update is the version of the Subscription Service for that Release Family that contains the most current problem fixes, availability, performance and security.


More Definitions of Supported Release

Supported Release means the specific version of the Software that is the current release or a release made within the last 6 (six) months.
Supported Release means, unless otherwise stated in the Order, the latest Release of the Solution that is generally available to FIS’ client base.
Supported Release means any Software Release currently supported under Pulse Secure’s then-current Software End of Life (“EOL”) and End of Service (“EOS”) Notification Policy and Procedures at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/support/eol; provided however, that for any Perpetual License Software (as defined in the applicable SDD) licensed to a particular End User, Supported Release excludes a Major Release of that Perpetual License Software released after the End User purchased the underlying Perpetual License Software (where “Major Release” means one or more Software Releases of that Software product in which the version number, the "x.y" denomination, has been changed and the “x” value has been advanced from the original version).
Supported Release has the meaning given to it in Section 5(d) of this Simplify License.
Supported Release means a release of the CGI Advantage Software for which CGI is actively providing fixes pursuant to the CGI Advantage Software Support Policy.
Supported Release means versions of Service Software currently supported by Service Provider. Service Provider will support at a minimum the current generally available release in addition to the previous release of Service Software.
Supported Release the release, version or revision of the Software that remains supported and maintained by SAP (UK) Ltd and SAPPHIRE.
