Tenure Review Committee definition

Tenure Review Committee describes a five-member review committee which is comprised of three (3) of the probationer's tenured faculty peers, a member of the administrative staff of the College, and a student representative. The Committee shall have duties including but not limited to evaluation of each probationer with regard to granting or withholding tenure.
Tenure Review Committee means a committee composed of [three academic employees] who hold [tenured] faculty appointments a division chairman, or management supervisor and a student appointed pursuant to WAC 132V- 22-030.
Tenure Review Committee means a committee composed of five (5) members: three (3) faculty members, the unit administrator or designee, and one student. At least one (1) tenured faculty member will be selected from the candidate’s department or related discipline when possible and one (1) tenured faculty member from outside the candidate’s unit. When possible, at least one of the faculty members will be selected from the candidate’s primary teaching location (i.e., duty station).

  • An evaluation shall be made of any other information deemed by the Individual Tenure Review Committee to be relevant to its employment recommendation.
