The Card definition

The Card means any credit card issued to you or those designated by you under the terms of this Agreement. “Use of the card” means any procedure used by you, or someone authorized by you, to make a purchase or obtain a cash advance whether or not the purchase or advance is evidenced by a signed written document. “Unauthorized use of the card” means the use of the card by someone other than you who does not have actual, implied, or apparent authority for such use, and from which you receive no benefit.

The Card means any automated teller machine access card (ATM card) or point of sale access card (Debit Card) issued by the Bank in the name of the cardholder, including any such card issued in replacement thereof or in substitution thereof or in addition thereto and/ or any additional / supplementary card(s) issued to persons nominated and authorised by the account holder / cardholder and in whose name(s) the card(s) will be issued by the Bank on account of the account holder /cardholder;

Examples of The Card in a sentence

  • The Card is available to legal entity commercial customers located in the fifty United States and the District of Columbia.

  • The Card Holder exercising the right of withdrawal is responsible for the expenditures made with using the credit card from the notification of withdrawal until the closure of the credit card by the Bank against any possible use; and the Card Holder is obliged to pay such expenditures to the Bank.

  • The Card Holder may pay such expenditures made in instalments if they are made on instalment basis in accordance with the account statement.
