Third Degree Burn means the damage or destruction of the skin to its full depth and damage to the tissues beneath.

• For Insured Person below eighteen (18) or above seventy-five (75) years of age, any compensation payable under Second Degree or Third Degree Burn Benefit shall be calculated based on 50% of the applicable limits and in no event shall the total amount payable exceed such adjusted limit.

• BURN BENEFIT If a Covered Person suffers an Injury that results in diagnosis and treatment by a Physician for a Second Degree Burn or Third Degree Burn listed in the Certificate Schedule of Benefits, the Company will pay the Benefit Amount listed in the Certificate Schedule of Benefits.
